The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is close to the river and the town centre. The system for gaining access is efficient and well thought out. Car parking is free. It was very good value.

Really friendly staff. Very dog friendly too. Comfy bed. Good location.
Evesham is a great stop off destination. Lovely park and abbey area. Would not need more than 1 day (or night) for a stay. Town centre looking a little shabby but plenty of places to eat. Everything is walkable.

Some parts of Evesham have character and there are places to visit in the local area. We were surprised that there were no decent cafe's and bistro's that we could visit. Parking was fine and we made use of the local Waitrose store - always a pleasure. We visited the Tower on the hill and enjoyed the views across the valley. Parking on the hill was a problem, people were very inconsiderate. Consequently we travelled to Chipping Camden instead to eat and drink.

Evesham is a market town and it's quite noticeable which is the oldest part of the town with Abbey ruins and the Almonry and the beautiful area called Hampton Ferry along Boat Lane. Lovely riverside gardens at Abbey Gardens.
Furthest end of the High Street, Bridge Street (walk over the bridge to views of River Avon) etc is where you'll find the majority of shops. But I feel some other parts of the town are quite poor and could do with a facelift.
Monica's Fish Bar and Restaurant - this was wonderful, a clean restaurant and such generous portions. The OAP meal for £9 (May 2024) was an absolute bargain with a pretty large portion of fish!! And lovely polite staff.
Pop into The Almonry Museum for the Tourist Information Office and pick up a few little souvenirs, tea towels, picture postcards (wont get them anywhere else in the town), pens, pencils, mugs, books about the locality etc. Very helpful ladies!
And the no.28 bus goes to Bidford Upon Avon and Stratford Upon Avon - both beautiful places for a day out.

It was New Years Eve and the hotel laid on nothing - not a special meal, music, not even a popper. People including us had brought along celebratory evening wear and there was nothing!! Room was too hot and there was no control. Road noise, very draughty windows. Extremely creaky floorboards. No plugs beside the bed. No shaver socket in the bathroom. The drains in the shower and basin were virtually blocked so after a shower the water cascaded all over the floor.

Host was excellent. Provided great detail on location where to park etc. Also provided milk for our arrival and allowed us to drop off our cases in the morning of our first day. Cottage was spotless and very welcoming and good location in Evesham.
Beautiful Bramble Lodge, very comfortable. Full English breakfast was delicious in the on site cafe. Good location to explore Evesham.
Welcoming service from the owner, provided tea, coffee, milk, cake and biscuits.
