Boasting a sauna, Luxury Exmoor Barn conversion with Sauna is set in Exford. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking.

Staying here was, honestly, flawless. The cottage itself was incredibly cosy and wonderfully renovated. The log fire, the well-provisioned kitchen, the delightful bedroom space and the super sauna tucked away in the bathroom...just a joy to call home for a couple of days. The location too is outstanding. Nestled into a little valley, surrounded by nature and a short stroll away from a small village with all that you could need for a few night aways, the cottage has been a highlight of the year. Highly and thoroughly recommended.

Located just 33 km from Tiverton Castle, Exmoor House offers accommodation in Wheddon Cross with access to a garden, a tennis court, as well as luggage storage space.

Everything from the spotlessly clean rooms to the wonderful hosts! It was all the little touches that made it so special the silent fridge, the bottle of water & orange juice, the bottle of milk.. the huge choice of teas and coffees, biscuits and chocolates for the humans and dog biscuits for the dogs! Izzy & Peter Exmoor house is a credit to you both, you can see just how much work goes in to making it the wonderful place that it is!

In the middle of Exmoor country park so the village was remote ..Because of the wet weather , i went out in the car to get to places of interest..Drier days, and if I had found the walking routes ,would probably of used them ..Fields upon fields and countryside around

The staff especially at breakfast was excellent although he seemed to be overworked and desperately needed some assistance. The information on booking .Com stated there was a refrigerator in the room but there wasn’t and when we asked at check in we were told our room doesn’t have one although when I booked it said it did the hotel did nothing to try and rectify this the problem arising was it was a particular hot few days.

A lovely location in the heart of Exmoor, choice of pubs and hotels and a great base for gentle strolls or longer Exmoor hikes. Village shop caters for most needs. Great area for riding with a number of riding centres within easy reach.

I have known, and loved, Exford for more than 70 years. Hearing the clippers-clop of horses' hooves and seeing the Exmoor Stores reopened and flourishing was splendid. Church Hill still seems strep to walk up...

Did not have time to look around Exford as we only booked for one night. We were booked onto a special stargazing event, which was excellent. However the drive over the moor from Lynton was stunning. Exford is situated in an excellent part of the moor for exploring and Exford appeared to be a lovely village to walk around, with two pubs and village shops. Horse riding available too. Would reconmmend Exford for a place to stay for either a long weekend or for a week.

Loved the location, Exford is a small village with lovely shops, tearoom and hotel. The cottage had a small enclosed garden was ideal for our little terrier. The bedroom was lovely, comfy bed with enclosed dressing area. The shower was hot. Lounge area comfortable. The kitchen was great, we cooked breakfast and ate out each evening at some good pubs within a few miles and also walkable to Exford. We enjoyed Dunster, Minehead, Porlock, Porlock Hill & Tar Steps. Fantastic area and would highly recommend.
