Set 33 km from Ayr Racecourse, The Coach House - Bargany offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Self catering accommodation very spacious, clean, warm and comfortable which was equipped to a satisfactory standard. Bargany is a stunning place to holiday with beautiful walks around the Estate. Beyond Bargany, the location was fabulous. Far enough away from the Coastal town of Girvan but easily reached by car. The central heating super efficient & the control - very easy to use. The property warmed up really quickly. Pleasant sitting room for evening relaxation. Thank you for the many recommendations & the road map too as we left ours behind by mistake. We used the map every day to find our way around Ayrshire whilst visiting many of your suggested places to go. Some great restaurants too. Importantly, we were impressed with lots of accessibility in many places, for my husband to be able to use his mobility scooter. We were overall, delighted with our stay in the Coach House at Bargany. We would definitely be very happy to base ourselves here at Bargany again for a subsequent holiday to be able to go out & discover more of Ayrshire, very possibly with family next time. Thank you.

Absolutely first class accommodation. The lodge is immaculate, clean and extremely spacious. Honestly all aspects of the lodge were spot on could not fault it whatsoever. The lodge has a perfect location with views out over Ailsa Craig amazing. Stuart the owner was very helpful and couldn't have done any more to help us on arrival. Highly recommend...10/10

The Cottage is located in Girvan, 31 km from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, 18 km from Culzean Castle & Country Park, as well as 32 km from Belleisle Golf Club.

As a holiday cottage for two people, it's perfect. everything was the right mix of being both modern and clean, whilst maintaining character and atmosphere. There were a lot of little touches that made it feel like a lot of thought and care had gone into every detail. One of the nicest and best prepared self-catering places we've used. We felt thoroughly relaxed and at home(away from home).

Easy parking at the seafront. Fabulous coastline at Girvan.

Easy parking at the seafront. Fabulous coastline at Girvan. Limited shopping but fine for stocking up on general/essential supplies at Asda. Many places of interest to see not too far away. We absolutely loved Culzean Castle. We visited twice in 6 days. The whole area is huge and has something for everyone. A special National Trust place. Definitely worth a visit - or 2. Coastline and coastal walks - amazing. The Vaults Kitchen - Very friendly & great food. Also dog friendly (in the bar area) if needed. Many other good restaurants within a 20 minute drive from Girvan. Not all dog friendly though. We found 2 others out of the recommended list we had, that are very dog friendly. We had great service from brilliant staff and fabulous food too in both. They are: The Greenside - Maybole & The Kirkton Inn - Dalrymple Overall - Girvan was perfect as a base to start from to go and discover locally and beyond around Ayrshire.

Miner's cottage we stayed in was Awsome!

Miner's cottage we stayed in was Awsome! One minute walk to Asda and 5/10 minute walk to beach, not much of a town centre now (bit run down) But that didn't deflect from our thoroughly enjoyable relaxing break, my Pupster absolutely had the best time at the beach, all in all we had a lovely time 😎👍😃

Girvan is a hidden gem. Gorgeous old buildings.

Girvan is a hidden gem. Gorgeous old buildings. Beautiful, clean beach and harbour. And genuinely friendly people. I had a great curry there too, at Jasmine’s. Art centre, community garden, great library, antique shops and brilliant accommodation at the Southfield Hotel. All easy walking. Surrounding hills and scenic views of Alisa Craig and Arran are stunning.

Great views across the sea to Ailsa Craig.

Great views across the sea to Ailsa Craig. Apart from that it's a dump! Noisy Fair across the road from our B&B. Rows of neglected terraced seafront houses and B&Bs. Gangs of noisy kids roaming. Numerous closed and derelict shops on the High Street. Would never go back again.

The beach was fantastic and clean.

The beach was fantastic and clean. The town centre was closed when we were there but plenty of shops to look around. Fantastic views all around from every road. From mountains to the beach and lots of old historic looking buildings. Lovely harbour to walk on and a you can catch the ferry to Ireland. We enjoyed our overnight stay there. Lovely fish and chips from the fish shop near the harbour. Lots of parking. Everything mentioned was all within walking distance of each other.

The caravan was modern and well equipped with free wifi on a quiet location on the campsite. There were walks along the coast with stunning views and towns (Ayr, Girvan) were within a short drive. The staff at the campsite were very friendly. Very competitive price for our break.
