Made to feel very welcome. The room was very clean and tidy, and Jackie was the perfect hostess. We pre ordered champagne and flowers and they were absolutely perfect. Really looking forward to returning at some point in the future.

Offering sea views, Bay Villa is an accommodation set in Grange Over Sands, 22 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 45 km from Trough of Bowland.

The entire experience was fantastic. From Margaret’s incredible hospitality to the amazing room there is nothing I could fault about my stay here. If anything I would say that the pictures don’t even do it justice because it doesn’t reflect the huge amount of small details in the room that really take the experience from excellent to exceptional. I would also be remiss to not mention the unbelievable views out onto the bay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at this hotel primarily to make some trips into the lake district, which was as beautiful as ever, but unfortunately has become very overcrowded with visitors. We found Grange over Sands nothing special and nowhere near as nice as some of the surrounding areas.

Its a beautiful peaceful little town on the sea. It has a lovely long promenade and pretty gardens to sit in. The town has plenty of independent shops and places to eat and drink. It also has the advantage of a train station which can take you or bring from as far a field as manchester airport

we visit here apx 3 times a year. The promenade, with views over Morecombe bay, is wonderful. There are some good cafes, e.g. Thyme Out (also good for evening meals), but very few evening options. Small toen centre, but many local shops. Great train links e.g. up the coats to Carlisle.

Grange over Sands is a lovely place to stay.

Grange over Sands is a lovely place to stay. It is a great base to visit other places in The Lakes, the train station was close to our hotel so very handy. We had two lovely evening meals, one at The Amber Court, Chinese which was very nice and the other was at the Estuary Bistro which was excellent.

The location of the property is beautiful. Grange Over Sands is picturesque. The beach and old buildings are beautiful. The apartment is right near shops and take aways. It's a quiet little town on the night. Apartment is lovely. Beds are a little hard but this is personal preference. Only negative would be no mirror to get ready in the front bedroom.

Hotel near town and easy to walk to. Ease of getting to other areas of the Lake District. Staff were pleasant and extremely helpful, nothing was a bother for them. Sitting areas in the hotel were comfortable and staff happy to chat when serving. Spa facilities were good and had the weather been dry the outdoor area would be pleasant to sit in.

What a fantastic place! It could easily be used to film an Agatha Christie novel. The view of Morecambe Bay from the front was stunning. Also the service from the hotel staff was excellent as was the buffet breakfast (we didn't eat in the hotel at other times of day but the dinner menu certainly looked tempting)
