Featuring a terrace, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The New Inn Heckfield is located in Hook, 29 km from Jane Austen's House Museum and 31 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common.

Lots of character, the oldest part of the Inn is 600 years old! And yet it feels fresh and is obviously well cared for

This is an exceptional small hotel in the English countryside and not too far from Heathrow Airport The best beds, room decor and Restaurant The price is low and therefore exceptional value We spent money and time in their Restaurant rather than going out as the menu and standard of food was amazing Attitude of staff was great. They are well trained and a great asset to the Wellington Arms⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely big car park and nice looking property.

Lovely big car park and nice looking property. Decent sized room, but would have loved to see some colour, perhaps in cushions and a few pictures as it was a bit bland. Climb into the bath to shower with a shower curtain, never our favourite. All just a bit tired, with a strangely bumpy floor. However, the price was reasonable and we didn’t pay for luxury.

Very central for dinner at Heckfield Place if you don't want...

Very central for dinner at Heckfield Place if you don't want to pay a ludicrous amount to stay there! The New Inn is about a mile from Heckfield Place but the busy road means it is not recommended to walk. The beds would benefit from a 'Topper' as the mattress was a little uncomfortable. The price for the room was exceedingly low for all the amenities you would expect in a hotel room.

I liked the location because at night the noise was near silent as there isn't much traffic that goes round near the hotel. Staff were friendly and lovely, great service every time into the restaurant, for my first time staying in a hotel these was a magnificent experience.
