The hotel is excellent value for money and only a ten minute walk into the town centre. We have a son with learning disabilities and the gentlemen who run the hotel could not have been more understanding and kind. Thank you.

The staff from moment I walked in and any interaction during my stay with staff, made me feel like a million dollars. The rooms were better than images on booking.com. the dinner in evening was lovely, great drinks at great prices including Guinness on tap, they even showed the football. I used gym, swimming pool and even jacuzzi which was clean

Comfortable room, recently refurbished. Refurbished public areas of the hotel are also nice. Location and car parking both good.

Location for the purpose of my visit was good but nothing else. Very basic personal accommodation. Uncomfortable bed but nowhere else to sit. Still had my overcoat on in the evening as it was too cold to take it off. Had to ask for a heater for the room. Pity I didn’t take photographs.

Everything in the place was on its last legs.
Everything in the place was on its last legs. Furniture damaged and filthy. No cutlery and a handful of utensils clearly left by previous guests. Floors that slope, floorboards that stuck up, beds that wobble like they are going to snap…
The only thing that made it clear it wasn’t a squat was the clean sheets and towels…
