Hull is one of my favourite places to stay and visit. Everything is within walking distance from the bus/train station. The marina just at the back of Princes Quay is absolutely beautiful, with boats of all sizes. We visit Hull quite often, mainly to go to music venues, and have always enjoyed our visits. There’s some great small venues there, such as The Polar Bear, The Welly and The New Adelphi. We always go early and have a walk round the Old town, where there is some fantastic pubs and a great atmosphere. Some interesting and fascinating buildings and museums.
Some interesting and fascinating buildings and museums. A pleasant waterfront area with a nice vibe. Disappointing to see a large area of the city is still being dug-up and the renovation of the Maritime Museum/Corsair is taking so long. Although breakfast is not provided, the Greggs bakery right behind the pub is handy for sausage bap and a cuppa. Rooms are impeccably clean and presented and toiletries are provided. They serve meals at lunch and dinner time. We had fish and chips and it was superb! Parking is provided on the retail park at no cost, staff are very helpful and friendly.
