Where do we start!! The location, the accommodation, the facilities and the Hosts were so warm, friendly and welcoming. We stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and it could not have been happier with everything. This experience was on our bucket list, we will be back we loved it that much. The hosts have begun new venture and honestly it feels like they been doing this for years. Well done Carol, Chris and Joe you guys have smashed it.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. They even contacted us once we left to inform us we had left something behind and they would post it to us. The room was very clean and well presented and the ensuite had everything we needed including plenty of hot water. The pub downstairs had a lovely atmosphere and offered a variety of hot meals, that were tasty and well priced. Breakfast was very efficient and again tasty and well cooked.

What a little "gem" of a B&B... in the middle of the countryside. Ok, it's a bit of a trek getting to Five Saints, but well worth the effort. Set in stunningly beautiful countryside, the Stables is a fantastic find for those that want to enjoy the peace and tranquility that's on offer. Cosy bedroom, comfortable bed, great shower and what a view out the bedroom window!
The breakfast menu was varied and the food plentiful. Fresh farm poached eggs in the morning... you can't beat them.
The host Nikki was very friendly and accommodating. Even heated up my "ready meal' which I brought along for my evening supper which I eat overlooking a beautiful sunset evening on the picnic table. Awesome stay!

Lampeter is suffering as the University declines and cafes, etc close. But a characterful old place is enjoyable to be in. Good old pub - the Black Lion Royal, a characterful old coaching inn where you can also eat and stay.

Lampeter is a good centre for visiting provided you have a car. The Cardiganshire coast is not far and has some spectacular cliff-top walking between New Quay and Llangranog. The Cambrian hills run close by to the east. And there is Strata Florida Abbey ruins, Tregaron Bog for bird watchers and Devils Bridge for steam train enthusiasts, all within a 40 minute drive
The town itself has seen better days. The fact that St David’s Trinity College campus is there cannot compensate for the loss of its position as the area’s main livestock market and the town has clearly declined economically.
But there’s still Conti’s Cafe bang in the centre where you’ll get a very special vanilla ice cream.

Lampeter is a small town but with a variety of shops. Great little garden centre is Roberts' if you want well priced pots and plants. Nearby is Cae Hir gardens and a short drive away is Aberaeron, a charming harbour town - you must try the ice cream flavours there (honey, for example). Within the town, The Black Lion offers an excellent menu or, if you wan to cook for yourself, try the Bakehouse for ideas and superb ingredients.

Spending time at the university, particularly enjoyed time in the university library. The Quilt museum was excellent and was one example of Welsh heritage. Visited Cae Hir garden, well worth the visit.
Local people in the cafes and shops were all very friendly and we learned a lot about the town and the changes over the past years.

Lampeter is a very interesting place , it is a university town and has some beautiful buildings .It also hosts a large amount of eateries ,pubs and restaurants. It has a superb fine dining restaurant at the Falcondale hotel, which is well worth a visit.
It also has cultural quilting centre which is quite amazing and a hidden gem from the road. There are plenty of traditional shops available as well as two large supermarkets.

We stay in many hotels like this, but this is on another level. The attention to detail makes all the difference. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed with a stunning view across the Welsh hills. Our name had been put on the door to our room which is a minor thing but makes you feel very welcome and at home. Service was always attentive and the food exceptionally good. The tables in the lounge had miniature games on for you to amuse yourselves which we found fun and entertaining. Overall this is an absolute gem.
Booked this hotel as I needed to be in Lampeter for 2 nights and it was the cheapest available.
I have used this hotel before (in a different room) and found it adequate for my needs.
The beds were clean and we both slept fine; there was plenty of tea and coffee provided.
Convenient location in central Lampeter. Overnight parking literally outside the front door. Tasty breakfast cooked fresh to order. Very warm welcome from Angela, the host. Excellent tea and coffee choice in room. Fresh milk plus mini fridge.
