Very quirky and cosy. Decorated prettily and very comfortable furnishings . Walkable to beach, very close to reasonably priced shop and to all amenities.

Great caravan with lots of space.
We thought this was a 2 bedroom but on arrival we realised it was a 3 bedroom! Even better we got a room each!
Loved that all our fresh bedding and towels were laid out for us, also we had lots of pillows and blankets etc. Very clean too.
Will definitely be booking it agian.

A pretty and quiet little seaside town, offers a perfect short break for couples and families, lots to do from walks, the beach, ice cream shops, arcades, crazy golf and more. Friendly locals, and lots of places to eat. On the whole I really enjoyed my relaxing long weekend.

Lots of places to eat but very expensive generally . Ideal for short stay tourists. KK Chinese good food and prices. Paul's Pie and Mash way too expensive.
No supermarkets but lots of mini stores.
Social club best avoided because of drink, drug and yob culture.
Not the place for young children - amusement arcades and a couple of shops. temp funfair.

I love leysdown it has stayed the same for years and I love that. Prices are very reasonable and it always looks clean and tidy despite what some people think. The people are always friendly I’ve not met a bad 1 yet. It is very family oriented and that’s what I love about it. Also just a short drive or 10 minute walk past leysdown is Shellness where your dogs are allowed I love taking my shitzu down there.

We walked from Leysdown to Shellness and inland through the Nature reserve to the 1000 year old church had lunch in the only Inn 'Ferry Inn', nice food but not much for vegans (I am vegan). Felt nice being in nature. The second day visited Emely Nature reserve lots of wild life to see, birds hares etc. Didn't do the arcades etc. so it depends what you want from a holiday and which parts of the Island you visit

Friendly people. Nice beach. Plenty of places to eat out.
Went to sheerness to Barton. There was a canal. Lots of greenery for dog walkers & a nice little cafe.
