Cottars enjoys a location in Winfrith Newburgh, 5.3 miles from Monkey World and 13 miles from Corfe Castle. This homestay features free private parking, daily room service, and free Wifi.

We were there for a very short visit but Irene was accommodating. They communicated before arrival and were very responsive and kind during our stay. The location was convenient for durdle door and Woolworth cove. Most importantly, it was clean and spotless so I felt comfortable.

If you love walking over hills this is ideal, if you just want to lounge on a sandy beach, find somewhere else. There is one road in and one road out, a very small resort with not much else to see or do, but it is lovely. for a day or two stay

Lulworth Cove is of course a famous beauty spot to visit.

Lulworth Cove is of course a famous beauty spot to visit. It does not disappoint. Access is by foot down a shortish downhill roadway to the beach with access by car not permitted in the high tourist season. There is a large fee paying car park at the top, with restaurants and gift shops.

Loved our hotel and the location.

Loved our hotel and the location. Food at the Limestone Hotel was amazing. Best we have had in our UK trip so far. Can’t beat the size and quality of our accommodation at the Limestone Hotel in such a lovely Inn/Hotel. I would rate it right up there with the best. Beach and walks so beautiful. Easy to walk around. Disliked the bus loads and hoards of day trip tourists. Next time I would avoid the bank holiday weekend. Definitely a weekday stay would be better.

Lulworth Cove is an absolute gem. Plenty of walks and country pubs along the way. It is a must see destination, and perfect for a few days away. We stayed at the Lulworth Cove Inn which was ideal for us for what we needed. Good pub with lovely rooms and breakfast included 👍

If you stay at Lulworth cove Inn , (as I say in previous review) go out at night and listen to the Tawny owls. Also, visit Lulworth cove at night because when there is no one there its quite amazing having it to yourself, its extremely dramatic in the dark. We went in January so after dark the place was deserted which we loved. Also , if you open your bedroom window in the hotel you can hear the owls and the sea.

The purpose of our visit was a short break away. The planned break included cliff walks, visits to the Etches collection and tank museum. Lulworth cove was an ideal location and base for our intended activities.

Both my husband and I had a lovely stay, breakfast was exceptional, the landlady couldn’t do enough for us ensuring we had had enough to eat. Very friendly and helpful. Slept very well and was very clean. A short walking distance to Lulworth cove and the castle inn just across the road if you’re looking for something to eat in the evening.

Perfect Hotel for exploring Lulworth cove, Durdle Door and the surroundings both as a couple or as a family. Very sweet hotel with extremely friendly owners who recently renovated the hotel. The entire little village is wonderful to stay and we can highly recommend this hotel.

Super charming room with a lovely view! Parking right opposite so super convenient. Greeted by staff with that super cool Dorset vibe. All in all, super one night stay after a run on the coastal path. Someone even organised super weather for us in mid November.

The Dorset breakfast was perhaps the prettiest brittish breakfast I have ever eaten. Very friendly staff. The picnick lunch is good!
