Boasting a hot tub, Moonlight Lodge is situated in Newton on the Moor. Offering free private parking, the 4-star holiday home is 13 km from Alnwick Castle.

It was really clean and full of amenities needed for the stay, lovely decor and the hot tub is just a luxury and was lush to use, especially in the morning - amazing way to start the day. The park itself was lovely and so maintained. I can't find any fault with the lodge, park and after doing a lovely walk by the golf course, the pub was nice and staff friendly. Also to add, the box of chocolates and wine on arrival was an unexpected, but very welcomed, surprise! The owner of the lodge, Alan, was always on hand and checked in with us via text to make sure all was going well, really friendly and helpful guy! Myself and my partner want to return and soon!

A 15-minute walk from Alnwick Castle, The Oaks Hotel provides bed and breakfast accommodation and a full food menu. This dog-friendly Northumberland hotel provides free parking and Wi-Fi.

The staff were all very friendly. They kindly accommodated a late check out. Breakfast was very good. It was easy to find and parking was convenient. The room was lovely, obviously recently renovated/decorated and very clean.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, The Cookie Jar (Alnwick) was formerly the Convent of Mercy, and is just 0.2 miles from the centre of Alnwick.

The place really is beautiful, wonderful location and parking wasn't an issue. The room was lovely and airy with a generous bathroom and powerful shower; the vegetarian menu for dinner was strong and the choice at breakfast catered for all requirements. The little touches in the room were appreciated: cookies, toiletries, clean towels, tea making set and they were topped up daily.

Beautiful bungalow - 4 spacious bedrooms - 3 with en-suite and a massive separate bathroom. Kitchen well equipped and a huge family table. The views are lovely - out to sea. Newton - on- the- Moor is a beautiful tiny little village with a gorgeous pub serving stunning food - 'The Cook and Barker' Only 5 miles form Alnwick - and a 3 miles to the gorgeous beach of Alnmouth. It snowed while we were there it was fantastic we all loved it, husband, kids, grandkids and dogs - could have stayed longer

    Nice village.

Nice village. Property in nice location, but the kitchen would benefit from some updating, ie bigger fridge, new crockery and utensils. Wasn't easy cooking our Christmas Dinner with only 3 saucepans, and only two shelves for both ovens. Central heating boiler was off more than it was on due to ongoing fault. Thankfully I'd taken an electric fan heater, but it's a huge property not to have any heating.... in December!

The property is excellent if you just want to stay in and use the hot tub. We were hoping for a bit of life on the site but finally found it in a local pub after walking through the woods, would of helped if there was a little map showing where the pub was as its only a 10 min walk from the caravan but with a quick look on Google maps I found it.

It was a lovely clean park in a beautiful rural setting with great views we did struggle to find a local shop for fresh milk etc but armed with everything we’d need we would return! There was a snack van at reception but as we were offsite visiting family we missed the short opening times. The park itself was very quiet & peaceful

Lovely location, comfortable clean accommodation in a quiet caravan park. The Cook & Barker a little over a mile away (some care if on foot) for excellent food and real ale. Amble is 20 minutes away and well worth the trip. Alnwick & Rothbury a little further but you will not be disappointed.
