The location was absolutely wonderful. To open the doors to the Loch in the morning was just spellbinding.
We only ate here on the last night, but it was sensational: perfectly cooked.
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this property is located 12 miles, or a 30-minute drive, from the south of Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland. This hotel overlooks Loch Linnhe.

We were welcomed to the lodge by a friendly member of staff. Our room had a stunning view of the loch and was very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and even squeezed us in for dinner just before they were closing the kitchen, which we were very grateful for! Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would stay again
A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

Great hosts and friendly helpful staff. Even kept the kitchen open for me as I arrived very late due to car breakdown.
Will happily return here.
Corran Bunkhouse is set in Lochaber near Onich, on the banks of Loch Linnhe. This charming property offers rooms set in a former bunkhouse with a steam room and kitchen.
On the shores of Loch Linnhe, Creag Mhor is ideal for hiking, cycling and watersports. It has a bar with over 350 malt whiskeys.

It was a beautiful house in a gorgeous location, the staff really friendly and helpful nothing seemed too much trouble. Beds were comfy, room just lovely with all those little econnections we all need. Loved the small bar for that quiet evening drink. We would very happily stay here again
Sitting on the shores of Loch Linnhe, beside the Corran Ferry, The Corran offers room-only serviced accommodation. Each room at the property has a Freeview TV, and a DVD player.

We could not have picked a more picturesque location to stay while we visited Glen coe for two nights. We were within walking distance of a two and a half mile walk which goes past a beautiful waterfall, it was very manageable for us as beginners who didn't want a super long hike, there are multiple options for this however if you do want that. The ferry outside is free for pedestrians and we took it a couple of times, once for a walk the other side and once for dinner at the inn (definitely recommend, great food, not too pricey) The room is very nice, modern, good shower and they provide tea coffee, orange juice, milk and muffins :)
Stunningly situated by the sea, this stylish hotel offers chic accommodation, facilities and dining
All 20 rooms enjoy magnificent sea views and all are fully en suite with luxurious fittings and fur...

Glen Coe is beautiful if the weather is decent. If it's raining, it's pretty miserable. There really wasn't anything open in early October so we were challenged for things to do and we weren't even there a day. Our place was 25-30 minutes removed from hiking locations and near the one place open for dinner.

Onich is in a beautiful setting.
Onich is in a beautiful setting. Our pod had a lovely sunny private patio with a stunning view looking down the loch. It is in the centre of an outdoor activities area so there lots of nearby things to do - walking, climbing, mountain biking, sailing , paddle boarding etc. The hotel has reasonably priced bar and restaurant with charming staff. The food was average but it may depend what you order- I had vegetarian burger, my partner had scampi. If weather very poor there is a very nice small cinema, ten pin bowling etc in Fortwilliam which is 15 min drive.
Pod is reasonably well equipped, bed was very comfortable but apart from a coat stand, there is nowhere to store clothes. There are no tea towels either.

End of our trip so only stayed one night - however this place is pretty and relaxing and I would say is ideal for exploring the likes of Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct etc so you could easily spend a few nights here before heading on to the Isle of Skye or further North.

Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

Excellent location directly on the beach. Restaurant and bar are in the same building providing good food and a nice choice of local beers. The staff is very attentive and always makes you feel well looked after and care for.
The room we had was functional, had a nice bathroom and window looking out at the lake. Everything was super clean. Cooked breakfast is very nice with all the expected trimmings. For those who don't want a fully cooked breakfast there are other options like salmon or continental choices.
The Lodge on the Loch Onich was a perfect place to stay on our journey from Inverness. it’s beautifully located by the water and has a stunning view over the mountains and water. We felt very welcomed and got some great advices on places to go and see in the area, which made our journey even better so we are very thankful for the kind owner. The restaurant was also very cozy and served good food for dinner and breakfast.
this was a quintessentially Scottish b&b experience. The owner Clair was accommodating and friendly, she helped us get a reservation at an outstanding local seafood restaurant and Angela educated us at the extensive whiskey bar. The view alone is worth a stay, the hospitality made it the most memorable stop on our Scotland tour.
Beautiful location, for exploring the mountains, with a small private beach. We just need to revisit in the summer to take full advantage of the beach. The Onich Hotel was only 2 minutes walk away, gorgeous food and very friendly staff who accommodated our party of 6 with 2 dogs no problem
