Alan was so nice and helpful, booking us for dinner in a lovely local restaurant. The place was so clean and ideally located outside of Fort William about 10 mins. Beautiful stay and lovely host!
A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

It was cool driving straight off the ferry into the inn’s parking lot! The hotel is a maze of hallways, which is kind of fun. The staff are the best part - very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Helped us figure out alternatives when what we had planned to do was booked up. Gave us a lot of info about the area and a couple little history lessons. The food - fresh and tasty! Locally sourced, delicious meals. We will definitely stay here if we come through the area again.

Perfect Setting! Would come back everyday of the week!
Had everything we needed, wouldn't mind a few more things like tea bag's and possible coffee bags, sadly had no idea how to used the coffee thing. Haha

Very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed taking the ferry across for a pint at the hotel across the way.

Glen Coe is beautiful if the weather is decent. If it's raining, it's pretty miserable. There really wasn't anything open in early October so we were challenged for things to do and we weren't even there a day. Our place was 25-30 minutes removed from hiking locations and near the one place open for dinner.

Onich is in a beautiful setting.
Onich is in a beautiful setting. Our pod had a lovely sunny private patio with a stunning view looking down the loch. It is in the centre of an outdoor activities area so there lots of nearby things to do - walking, climbing, mountain biking, sailing , paddle boarding etc. The hotel has reasonably priced bar and restaurant with charming staff. The food was average but it may depend what you order- I had vegetarian burger, my partner had scampi. If weather very poor there is a very nice small cinema, ten pin bowling etc in Fortwilliam which is 15 min drive.
Pod is reasonably well equipped, bed was very comfortable but apart from a coat stand, there is nowhere to store clothes. There are no tea towels either.

End of our trip so only stayed one night - however this place is pretty and relaxing and I would say is ideal for exploring the likes of Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct etc so you could easily spend a few nights here before heading on to the Isle of Skye or further North.

Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

This hotel is close to passing the advantage line. They are nice people and the food in the restaurant was great (so good to see vegetarian friendly options on the menu). Repeat, we really enjoyed our meal.
The bed was springy but comfy for two big people - no sag to the middle, as yet.
All up, you get the feel they are working hard to lift things. It’s not far off great value for money.
The owner was very knowledgeable and a friendly person. At check-in he provided all necessary details regarding the property. There is no food option within the property but there is a kitchen if you would like to prepare food for yourself or there are a couple of pubs and restaurants nearby. Common Kitchen & dining is small but fully functional and well equipped.
Fantastic hosts, who provided us with a comfortable home setting away from home. Comfortable bed, shower great and good breakfast to start the day. Mairi also guided us to get medical care after I got knee injury and to amazing local cafes, restaurants and sites. Our preferred one was Lochleven Seafood Cafe! Superb!
