The property were beautiful. However we booked a family suite lake side view, we thought with it being pet friendly our puppy would be able to stay anywhere but they explained at the desk she wasn’t allowed in the hotel and re located us to cabin with a hot tub in the forest it was lovely ! However we got a early phone call off reception to tell us that they had been a mistake and we were in the wrong bit of the cabin, when we looked to see which part of the cabin it was it was like a shed!!! We had payed £400 to sleep in a shed! Due to the fact no where on the booking said the dog wasn’t allowed in the hotel. Which we weren’t happy about at all it was so small ! They moved us to a bigger cabin although it was literally just a bed basic tv and a bathroom, due to originally thinking we had the bigger cabin with cooking facilities we went into town and bought food to cook throughout our stay but due to all the mix up and faffing with the cabins we ended up having to waste £100 worth of food because the second cabin they put us in didn’t have any facilities they weren’t even plates/ cutlery and the fridge managed to fit a few bottles in and some milk! So it all went to waste! Such a shame really they should state on the website also if they couldn’t accommodate us with a like for like room then they should have given us a refund and we would have booked else where. I
