The Slipway B&B is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1527 and is located opposite Port Isaac harbour.

It is such a beautiful village with lots of history as well as the Doc Martin series. Very friendly locals and staff were amazing, really accommodating, really clean. 😊

Saundrys Barn is located in Port Isaac, 17 km from Tintagel Castle, 36 km from Restormel Castle, and 41 km from Launceston Castle.

We made a rather last minute booking to the UK from New York for a funeral and wanted to spend a few days in Port Isaac to relax before heading back to the US. We have stayed in Port Isaac before so we know what the village is like, what there is to see and do, restaurants to go to etc. We were surprised to find anything available and Saundrys Barn was such a good price in an ideal location. We wanted to avoid hotels just because we wanted more space than what any local hotel would offer but didn’t need a big house as it was just the two of us. Saundrys Barn has been lovingly restored from its former condition and it really is a nice place to stay. You are in the heart of the village but not inundated with tourists as it is set back up the hill from the Platt. There is a parking spot a short distance away which we used a couple of times but we found using the New Road car park better for us as we rented an electric car and the car park offers slow, but reliable, charging stations. The kitchen is big for a one bedroom property, and has a dishwasher and washer. The bedroom is a decent size, as well as the bathroom, with everything working as it should. The living room is up the stairs and feels bigger than the photos would suggest. We ended up having to delay our trip by one day due to a medical emergency a few days previous. On the first morning of our stay, Mr and Mrs Knight - the owners, stopped by to see if everything was ok with the accommodation. That was a nice personal touch. Such friendly people. We made the mistake of leaving a smartwatch and charger there as we were sort of in a rush to leave and they sent the watch within 2 days to my sister's house. That was very good of them. We are very much looking forward to staying here again in the near future and recommend Saundrys Barn to a couple that wants a lovely little place to stay in one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Knight, we hope to see you again.

Unique to the small fishing village of Port Isaac, The Gallery boasts a tiered traditional wild Cornish garden with spectacular sea views overlooking Port Isaac Bay.

The location was perfect, right in the center of town and the view from the room could not have been better with beautiful views over the harbour. The room was really quaint with a vase of fresh flowers and the friendly host was available if needed for clean towels and replenishments

Knights Den, a property with a garden, is located in Port Isaac, 17 km from Tintagel Castle, 36 km from Restormel Castle, as well as 38 km from Eden Project.

Great location, and loved the upstairs living area, so light and airy, but also cosy in the evenings! well equipped little house. Good information folder about the property, where to park etc. and very useful info about the area.

Located in Port Isaac and only less than 1 km from Port Gaverne Beach, The Sail Loft (part of Manor House) provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Great property. What also gave it high marks was the fact there was parking available . With parking at a premium this really did hit the spot for us. Could not fault the location, right near the harbour just where we wanted to be. Very clean and tidy and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Port Isaac was just perfect for a relaxed long weekend break and a great location to visit all of the delights of Cornwall. You can park a few hundred yards away in a public car park for £15 for the week

Great location. Beautiful appartment, clean and spacious. Bed was absolutley comfortable. The only problem we had, there were only two channels on the tv and the front door was a bit fiddly. The Cornish cove cafe is the best place to get breakfast, the owners are so friendly and funny..and they've been on the telly 😀.

Despite the weather (Storm Bert prevailed!!), it's a lovely town and a very good place for wandering around—very quirky and interesting. Parking was a good 15-minute walk away which was a hassle but manageable! Nathan Outlaws Fish Restaurant was fantastic. We also had lunch at The Mote - which was very good, excellent homemade soup and crab - and supper in the hotel - which was unfortunately mediocre and expensive.

Port Isaac is quite lovely and full of interest . The Restaurants are plentiful and mainly of good quality - even if a little expensive ! The ' Doc Martin ' and ' Poldark ' connection are essential to it's continued success . Car Parking however is a bit of a problem . Prepare to walk some distance from the Car Parks outside the village !

    Lovely little village.

Lovely little village. Definitely need walking shoes as it’s very hilly. Visited the Golden Lion for dinner which was gorgeous. Had a table overlooking the bay and delicious food. Dinner the following evening was in the Old School House, which was a good meal but not such a good atmosphere and no sea views. Still felt like you were in a school. We caught the bus to Wadebridge which took us round the coast. Far better than taking the car as we got to see the beautiful scenery.

The scenery in Port Isaac is beautiful and changes by the hour as the tide comes in and out. Ample pubs and restaurants, but never seemed too crowded. Easy to get around the village, and our Walk and Talk tour was all inclusive. We were pleasantly surprised by a marching band to entertain us, and the ultimate surprise was a casual concert by Fisherman’s Friends! Lots of young families and all other age groups. The people in the village are so friendly!

The location is excellent, close to Port Issac, only 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive, but not in Port Issac. Port Gaverne is a picturesque and nice location in a small inlet. The hotel is well located looking out to sea. The rooms are not large, but they are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The balconies for some rooms are nice touches. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar is cosy and nice. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is dog friendly.

The view from the 'Loft Suite' must be the best view in Port Isaac, indeed the best view we've ever had from any hotel, (see photo). The staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Louis, (apologies if I haven't spelt his name correctly), was the most attentive waiter we have ever had, as professional as a maître d' that you would find in a top Michelin Star restaurant.
