In the heart of the New Forest National Park, Stag Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking amid beautiful forest trails.

Exceptionally comfortable bed - we loved the style of the Stag and the room. The food is excellent - highly recommend the venison pie. Check in was very professional. Breakfast is very nice but perhaps a couple more options like eggs Benedict and croissants would be nice.

The staff were friendly, the scones were excellent. However, I was quite disappointed with the rib-eye steak I had. It was tough even though i asked for medium rare.

This privately owned hotel rests in the heart of the picturesque Regency market town of Lymington, perfect for exploring the delights of the New Forest.

The staff were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was great. The bed and comforter and pillows are super comfortable and it was the best night's sleep we got in over a week. The shower was great, the toiletries and towels were great. It was all wonderful. The location is convenient for walking to the Quay, shops, restaurants, etc. We drove to the Isle of Wight Ferry parking lot to take the ferry over for the day which was easy and convenient. We had stayed here before and will come back again.

sway is lovely place to stay only if you have a car, because the roads have no side walk and are very narrow. walking pathways are not clearly marked or overgrown. caravan sites are really lovely and easy access about if you have a car or able to use the taxis. But if your not use to walking long walks sways not the place for you.

Sway is a large village with a play ground, a few shops and a couple of pubs. Easy routes out to New Forest. Hotel provided walking routes for this area. Hotel is in quiet location. Station is in village but we weren't aware of train noise at hotel. Lovely place to stay as within easy reach of Forest and all it's attractions.

Sway was right where we needed to be to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. Great pub, the Hare and Hounds that does all day food. And of course, our excellent accommodation was in Sway, Hunters Croft. Just perfect!

As you enter the town, you'll start seeing signs to be careful with animals, with pictures or cows and horses. Then you see them just roaming freely around the town, alongside people. It was definitely a sight to see! There are lots of walks in the New Forest that you can follow in a tourist map, and also it was easy to get to the Co-op and the local pub from our location.

I was attending a two-day Art course at the SpudWorks just down the road , so it was perfect to stay at The Manor at Sway . There's a good Co-op opposite if one has forgotten anything and also nice pubs nearby. Sway seems a good location as a base for the coast or for the New Forest. First night had dinner at the hotel, was delicious, quite expensive but great as a treat when one is tired from long journey.

Lovely little 3 bedroom house with garden in Sway. Clean and modern inside. Walkable to a playground, small co-op and a pub next door (we didn’t use the pub but it looked lovely). We hired bikes nearby and went cycling with the kids on easy tracks in the New Forest. Parking is on the street outside or opposite near shops which was fine. Fabulous stay.

Beautiful, quirky cottage in the heart of Sway. A 10 minute walk to the station and surrounded by beautiful wildlife and countryside. Easy to collect keys and parking right outside the door. Host, Louise, was at hand if anything was needed and was courteous and attentive throughout.
