Location was ideal for exploring this lovely town. It was also great to have parking available off the road. We did not use the kitchen facilities, but the standard of kitchen and general decoration was very good. There is no view and is adjacent to an alleyway footpath. We are worried it might be noisy but was very quiet.

Stayed in Tenterdon for a visit to Chapel Down Vineyard. Excellent location for this with a taxi costing £15 e/w but it is also on a local bus route so check the timetable to save money....Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Tesco and Waitrose also very near by.

Did the Vinyard tour, and then early evening enjoyed an Italian meal in the town. It was impossible to get a Taxi home as there are none in Tenterden, It's bizarre! Only private car hire, who arent intersted at short notice. Restaurant manager kindly found someone to take us back to our hotel.

Lovely little cottage, very small not ideal for people taller than 6ft. Very dangerous stairs would not recommend for the elderly. Unfortunately the property needed to be a little cleaner. The floor was dirty and a poo bag was found by the back door.
Apart from this the location was great next to all the shops and pubs.

Lovely little town with bustling high street, with lots of restaurants, bars/pubs and shops to keep your entertained. Had a lovely curry at Banjara, just a short walk from our hotel.
For steam train enthusiasts, there's the kent & East Sussex railway starting from the town centre, plus Chapel Down winery just down the road, which gives superb tours / tastings & delicious food at the Swan.

Tenterden has a very attractive tree-lined High Street with many independent shops and cafes. It is a busy, thriving market town in a beautiful part of the country, known as the Garden of England.
Visitor attractions include the Chapel Down vineyards and Tenterden Steam Railway.

We enjoyed Tenterden as it was our first visit to Kent and we were pleasantly surprised how nice the area was.
We visited Chaple Down Vinyard,
We visited the The Crown Inn in Tenterden for a drink the locals and bar staff were very friendly and helpful , they didn't service food but we recommend the pub for a drink as they made us feel so very welcome.
We ate at the London Beach Country Hotel.
Recommend a visit to Sissinghurst Castle garden.
Wouldn't visit Hastings again , the old part is nice but new part is not to our taste.

A great location for visiting the Kent & East Sussex Railway, especially if you need an overnight stay after experiencing one of their fabulous Pullman dining evenings, as we did. The rooms are in a lovely old pub right in the centre of Tenterden. We loved the decor of our room as it's not your standard hotel room. The breakfast was good and very filling. We would stay again.
A wonderful tranquil stay in Angel cottage, a modern, spotless, fully equipped cottage , surrounding idyllic countryside but within easy reach of Tenterden , Stephen and Kate were very helpful indeed , couldn’t of wished for a nicer stay, hope to visit again !
I have stayed at this hotel twice now and everything is brilliant.
This time we spent the evening in the bar and the staff were amazing.
I will definitely stay again and recommend to everyone
