Enjoyed our stay at Malmaison. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the train station (we had lots of luggage) and the mostly positive reviews. The staff was very kind and accommodating during our stay. We had a club room which was large with a comfortable bed and nice furnishings.

Staff were very helpful. We had dinner here with friends (8 of us) and service was excellent. All requests were met. Quality of food was excellent.

Great hotel, highly recommended.
Entrance needs a ramp for luggage and probably more lights on the hotel itself as you can see much of it at night.
There is only one elevator which has two doors. One for the guests to the rooms and the other to the kitchen and service areas.
Always smells like food. Suggest to add a refresher to kill the food smell.

Very run down, unclean streets, overflowing bins on pavements with unbelievable stench, excrement over walkways and rats running freely in the streets and alleyways.
The area seems totally neglected.
This is not a tourist area or indeed a recommended area to stay.
Parking requires permits for both AM & PM stays.
