Views were excellent. Deck would have been nice to sit on if the weather was warmer

Great location. Ideal for the crabbing and fishing the youngsters did. Close to shops, restaurants, beach and everything else you might need. Great cpmmwith the proprietor and we were given an extra 30 mins to check out as one or two family members were dragging their heels 🤣

Great location, we wish we had known access was by a steep path, and car access was too far away for one of our party who has mobility issues.

Looe used to be fishing port but sadly much of that industry has gone. I used to visit here regularly in the late 60s early 70s, it was much quieter then but still a favourite for many tourists as it displayed much of the local character. I would recommend "Out of Season" visit as it can get overly busy in holiday periods. Great coastal paths east and west. I've also noticed a huge increase in Bars which as you can imagine the effect!!!! Yup, stay out of season. Some great restaurants - try the "Sardine Factory" and the Tapas Bar. I will return again.

We love Looe!!
We love Looe!! Beautiful place to wander around with quirky shops and a lovely beach... The bay is gorgeous and there's so much to look around with the harbour there. It's so close to Polperro too which is an amazing fishing village and worth a visit if you're in Looe. Would recommend!!

Looe is a great place to visit, character streets with great facilities. Some lovely walks from there along the coast. If you are feeling energetic you can walk to Polperro, maybe get the bus back though.

Variety of shops, everyone was friendly and welcoming.
Variety of shops, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ate in JuJu's the Tapas bar which we highly recommend, and the Italian was very nice as well. The walks were lovely and very picturesque, a quaint little town. Weather was great while we visited and Looe is very close to other places to visit as well. We will be back!

Looe is beautiful coastal town in south-east Cornwall.
Looe is beautiful coastal town in south-east Cornwall. Lots of quirky shops well worth a visit. It has a fabulous choice of restaurants too. Great for a weekend visit plenty to see and do and always lots going on down the harbour in the summer months. It tends to be more sleepy in the cold winter months.

Liked the individual nature of the shops and properties.
Liked the individual nature of the shops and properties. Plenty of character.
Carparking could be a problem, especially in summer.( but at least the charges were not as outrageusly expensive as nearby Polperro)

Excellent breakfast with good options to try alternatives to the full English if you wanted, but no pressure. The full English was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the alternatives I tried. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location with all Looe attractions within walking distance. We drove there but didn't use the the car for getting around Cornwall because the train and bus services were within easy reach and inexpensive. Highly recommend Cherrywood Lodge and will be going back.
Property was amazing , loads of room , lots of outdoor area , private too , secret garden is an amazing idea and the property came with every we needed for our weekend stay - even for the dog she had fun meeting the owners dogs and chickens too , we would recommend staying here for anyone going to Cornwall
it was a great place for us 70yr olds to have a fab weekend,, it was spotlessly clean, had a very thoughtful welcome basket, the beds were extremely comfortable and a great place to set of and see some of Cornwall ,, we will definitely be back 😀
Great location and base for seeing Cornwall. Enjoyed the walks to local beaches and along the coastal path. Lovely place to relax after excursions to the Cornish attractions. Great being able to park the car on site.
