Beautiful English village, very well kept, very peaceful.

Such a pretty spot.
Such a pretty spot. The turning into the hotel car park is narrow, with a sharp turn. Although the road is quiet, it's advisable to exit the car park with caution. Also, beware of the pheasants wandering around the road into the village - they think they own the place - well they do really. There's a lovely park area with a couple of swings right opposite the hotel. Listening to the river meandering its way under the pack horse bridge was very relaxing.Guest review byNickyUnited Kingdom

It is a good base to explore Exmoor ,and the North Devon coast .It has lovely ,spacious accommodation, very clean , with a plentiful breakfast served . The Evening meals are also very appetising.
