If you don't enjoy travelling along narrow lanes or you have a new car you don't want to scratch, use the Newnham Industrial estate to Newnham Road and use the B3417 to Lee Moor and on to Wotter.

The hotel is like a diamond smuggled within a beautiful view of Dartmoor, very accommodating and very friendly. I also got a free upgrade on my room, which was great! The food is fantastic and the presentation of the food, made it look too good to eat. Cooked fresh and tasted wonderful. Good old fashioned excellent customer service is also offered, which you do not see often enough anymore. I will be staying there again on my next business trip to Derriford hospital

Our travel plans were delayed so we arrived at the hotel outside the hours when the reception was open. Plans were made by the hotel to accommodate this without fuss or complaint. We had a very good breakfast (which you do need to order in advance) and all the staff were lovely. We stayed for just one night on a stopover for the Plymouth ferry and this was perfect. Location very quiet and the views from the room were fabulous.
