Lovely position by a wild beach with crashing waves. We had a fantastic trip organised by the hotel to nearby Sandy Island, one of the highlights of our holiday. The hotel had a delightful pool and charming restaurant. We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful.

Mount Edgecombe is a simple and peaceful hotel, largely because there are very few rooms. Meals include fresh ingredients straight from the plantation, and were delicious. We were able to sit by the pool whenever we wanted, or watch the sunset from the terrace. The staff were wonderful - always friendly and ready to chat, or help with tour or taxi bookings, or make a nice drink. I also loved the hammock on our private terrace: I made time every day to relax in it with a book or just listening to the sounds of the forest around.

Excellent location right on Grande Anse, near to St George’s. Very friendly, attentive staff. Amazing breakfast daily.
Special mention to Dylan and Akeem who hosted activities for adults and kids alike…eg easter egg hunt, karaoke etc during our stay and got my nephew addicted to Table tennis 😉
