The Canionel guesthouse is situated right at the Martvili canyon, in the middle of the tourist attractions, and next to the visitor center. During the day, the area is very busy with tourists arriving for the day. Very calm during the night, when the tourists have gone. The rooms were comfortable, simple and very clean. We had a little balcony which I loved. You can make your own coffee and tea at a table next to reception and there is a restaurant serving beautiful Georgian dishes attached to the hotel. Staff were very friendly. We had a great jeep tour to visit the waterfalls with the hotel manager.

When I arrived at the hotel, I noticed a welcoming host who was ready to answer any questions and suggested places where we should have gone. Furthermore, the view from the hotel was excellent and from the balcony, mountains could be seen. Also, the hotel was near the city center, and it was easy to reach many different places.
