Wonderful family that made us feel at home. Lovely river nearby. It was snowing while we stayed there, so beautiful and beautiful views of the mountains. Cozy woodstove in the lounge and heater in the bedroom. Had a yummy slice of cake that was shared with us. Large delicious breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

An amazingly beautiful place where the cottage is located. The cottage itself is very stylishly designed, exactly like in the photos. All details are made of wood, and the mattresses and pillows are good quality. The kitchen has everything you need: plates, pots, spoons, forks, knives, even sugar, tea, instant coffee, a cezve, paper towels, and more. You feel like you're at home when you arrive.
On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed, and on the second floor, there is a room with four single beds.
In the yard, there is a grill, a barbecue rack, skewers, firewood, matches, and so on. The views from the panoramic windows are incredible, and the air is amazing.
The hosts are hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend ordering lunch from the hosts: incredibly delicious with many dishes, we even had some leftovers for dinner.
It's best to travel by crossover, but you can also get there by sedan.
One day at this place turned out to be very little!

Spent night at the SunHouse just yesterday. It's the best one can find in and around Khulo at this price. The cottages are brand new and the owner Mr. Ramazi is the most friendly and caring person I have ever seen. We had trouble orienting in Khulo because we got there late at night and he walked all the way through our location to guide us back to his place.
He was also kind enough to let us overstay the check-out time for quite a bit.
The area itself is high on the mountain overlooking Khulo and Tago. You get to savor the first rays of the Sun in the morning. You can open windows and soak I'm the fresh mountain air. Breakfast we ate at the outdoors gazebo area with cool breeze and fresh air. Later we had nice long talk with the owner. He's got big plans about the property. Nice additional things are changing ming up soon apparently.
Will definitely stay there next time. Found the comfort, friendly attitude and nice place to stay. Will not search for more.

Absolutely lovely property, right in the heart of the town with ample parking places for our car outside. The family was very friendly, and provided a great breakfast. We ordered dinner at their house as well, which had some special local Adjarian dishes. The views from the main room are stunning.

Not much to see in the town, but it's a good base for exploring upper Adjara. We were there in March, which had snow and rain, so perhaps it's more charming in the summer months. Plenty of basic services in town as well.

Khulo is amazing place to wander around the town in the nature. You may find breath-taking mountain views, cozy small mountain lakes, powerful waterfalls. And you don't have to go far away from the city to join the nature.
Unfortunately, this year (2024) one of the sightseeing - cableway, it not working because of technical troubles. But still you may find plenty of hiking routes to visit to.

the road to the ski resort was bumpy and no enough road...
the road to the ski resort was bumpy and no enough road signs, but the hotel was really helpful at so many things, they did all the could to provide us our needs, especially with the sudden antibiotics medication for my child and the steel for the tires, since our car is not snow proof. Although the ski season is not yet opened, but the scenery was really good after the snow fell. The hotel could improve the pillow and also do something about the barking dogs at night. Overall, the hotel location for the ski site and cable car is perfect. I really recommend this hotel.
