Especially after the crowds in the north of Corfu and the mega hotels around the beaches here, we really appreciated the quiet, pastoral setting of the Stars. Our room was modest and fairly small with a balcony, but we did a last minute booking & were pleased to get in. As Emily said, “you’ll sleep well here” & we did. The breakfast array is plentiful & good, especially the coffee & homemade items. But it’s the dinner meal you want to make sure you take here. Don’t request the stereotypical offerings that are available everywhere: The specials each night, and the Greek meals, are plate licking delicious. And Kosta can whip up some good cocktails and wine for you when you describe what you want. We enjoyed watching the pleasure the kids were having in the pool but usually had spent too much time at the beach to want to use the pool ourselves. Love the parking situation.

Very clean. Lovely pool and breakfast area. Good breakfast with lots of choice. 10/15 minutes walk to the nearest sandy beach. Limited tavernas nearby. More choice was a half hour walk away. Fine walking back but challenging walking to them in the evening sun. Owners very helpful.

The owners were amazing, the pool 😍😍😍, and a simple but very nice breakfast! Ohh and I love a good balcony with the pool and mountains view. About the location, depending on what you want but for me i loved it, its just the perfect close but not close enough to the shops and beach to be such a peaceful place to rest and on a walking distance to the beach, bars and little shops if you in the mood for it. In general, it was a very good experience. Amazing price for the quality, really worthy! I would come back! 🌅✨️💛

The best thing was the availability of the staff. A girl was really helpful with everything we needed! The rooms had air conditioning and a fan which made it easier to sleep because of the hot at night.

The property was in a very convenient location to walk to the beach and a lot of restaurants. The owners were very friendly and communicative and made our stay very nice, even bringing us fresh donuts one morning! The property itself had a lot of nice things like a dishwasher and many kitchen gadgets. I would definitely return and recommend staying there.

We booked this accomodation last minute and the owner prepared our room very quickly. Everything was amazing. Big room, nice hot shower, beautiful garden, mosquito nets that open easily like a door, and above all - quietness. I really recommend this accomodation and would definitely stay there again.

A lovely quiet place, the key to which is the incredibly hospitable hosts who are always ready to help. You can feel yourself as family part here. Everything you need in an apartment, including kitchen utensils and quiet air conditioning, and a beautiful area around. Absolutely the best place in this region. Undoubtedly recommend.

It was amazing house on the front of the most amazing see
Agios Georgios is perfect for a peaceful holiday. It's not overly developed like some of the eastern towns but it still has plenty of options for eating out and drinks. Kafesas Taverna was my favourite, amazing food and fresh caught fish daily. Seagulls Restaurant was the best for sunset views from their terrace. Everything is walkable but there are a couple of places that you can hire bikes/quads/cars from to go further.
The beaches in the town are smaller and usually attached to a bar, loungers with an umbrella are usually around €10 but some places offer them free with purchase of food/drinks. If you walk a little further along to Issos you get the long sandy stretch that leads to the sand dunes and lagoon. In the other direction you have Lakkiess beach which stretches all the way along to Marathias beach - these are both much quieter than Issos, especially Lakkiess

Looks like it could be a popular place among tourists, but something went wrong. Maybe COVID, I do not know. There are a lot of abandoned buildings, that could show you apocalyptic picture.
There are two beaches, each has advantages and disadvantages, you have to try both. I prefer Lakkiess Beach, it is smaller, but less popular and there is cleaner water.
Aperitto Food & More is the best place in this village to eat. I strongly recommend giving it a try.
Plan your journey from the airport before arriving on the island as getting to the village can be difficult.
Green buses cost 4 euros but run every 3 hours.
A taxi costs 55-70€.
NOTE. There are two villages with the same name: Ag. Georgios, located in different parts of the island. Don't confuse them.

Liked the beach and sone nice tavernas and restaurants.
Liked the beach and sone nice tavernas and restaurants. There are some shops and areas that look rundown but our accommodation was just great and quiet, felt like you’re out in the countryside but beach only few minutes away . Our landlady was so kind and hospitable that made our stay very memorable.
The beach and tavernas were fine too. We had a couple of days doing excursions to Paleokastritsa and island Paxos and Antipaxos.

It’s a relaxing resort. It has some lovely walks in nature.
It’s a relaxing resort. It has some lovely walks in nature. The restaurants are many and some are very good indeed. There are some lovely bars, but it’s not party-central. The local people are so helpful and friendly. The wildflowers in May were incredible. We went to Chlomos one day and it was stunning. The boat trip to Paxos was good.

We have traveled in the main land Greece and it was great.
We have traveled in the main land Greece and it was great. IN my opinion, Corfu is over rated. It is a big island full of cars with traffic lights not working anywhere. So, there is traffic in the Corfu town and surrounding and no place to park. The building are all old and run down and nobody cares about restoring or painting them although the town makes a lot of money from tourists. There is not much to see except for an old fortress and the Achilleion palace which is closed for renovation. Beaches are just average sandy or rocky beaches and not comparable to the mainland beaches in terms of beauty. If you want to go around the island, it takes you hours to drive and may not worth your time and cost of rental car and gas.

Hi guys....this hotel is excellent, the staff are so so hospitable and so polite.
Vassilia the reservations manager is so professional and polite it made our holiday so good words cannot describe.
I would also like to thank Maryela the front desk nanager who upgraded me free of charge as on the ground floor and wanted first floor sea view and was ready to pay for the upgrade.
I would like to thank all the staff as the have made our holiday memorable.
Definitely will be back with my family this time .
We stayed in a bright, clean room with sea view. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and toast for breakfast by the owner who was very kind and welcoming. The apartments are about a 10 minute walk from the closest beach, which is great if you don't have a car or other transportation. The small town Agios Georgios has everything you need; a supermarket, several cafés and restaurants, a doctor's office and small shops with souvenirs and beach necessities.
We had an amazing time at this lovely apartment in Agios Georgios! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach, restaurants, and shops. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
