The Cycladic-style Afrodete Hotel is situated in Firostefani, a small hill at Santorini’s capital Fira. It features a hydro-massage tub and views of the Aegean Sea and the island of Anafi.

Extremely cosy room and comfortable bed with a lovely bathroom and shower. Great location if you don't mind the 5-10 min walk from Fira, as it's nice and quiet in this area but still close to the town. Staff was very hospitable.

Perched on Caldera cliff, in Firostefani Village, the Cycladic-style Agali Houses features a swimming pool and a furnished sun terrace with panoramic views over the sea and the Volcano.

Wow what a view! Great position & beautifully appointed luxuriously modern accomodation. We got a complimentary upgrade which included a huge private deck. It was an amazing place to relax and take in the gorgeous view. Lovely pool area also which has lounges with the view. Perhaps about 100 steps going down to hotel, however we organised transfer from them, so hotel staff met our transfer at road and carried our bags down. Also when we left, so it was made easy for us.

Renovated and refurbished, Cliff Side Suites, overlooking the most famous sunset by the Aegean Sea, offer 4 star facilities only 500 metres from the centre of Fira town.

The breakfast was great. The location by the pool is perfect with wonderful views over Skara and the caldera. My room had a lovely vview as well.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Exceptional views, friendly staff and spotless rooms. Breakfast great as it is a la carte and you can choose as much or as little as you want. Will definitely be back!

The Cycladic-style Blue Dolphins Apartments is located in Firostefani village, just 10 minutes from lively Fira town. It features rooms and suites with a terrace or balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea....

The breakfast is huge and delicious, the room with the balcony is beautiful, the manager helped me a lot with all my inquiries, the taxi driver was so friendly, definitely I will return to these beautiful place.

    Firostefani is close enough to Fira that you can't tell the...

    Firostefani is close enough to Fira that you can't tell the difference really. Santorini in general is very touristy even in October. Too many tourists! Very much a tourist trap. Worth seeing the crazy cliff side architecture of Fira and Oia on a short stay but not really somewhere I will return to, but other people love it. Do the hike from Fira to Oia (lots of ups and downs though) for amazing views of the volcanic crater that created Santorini. Stay here or anywhere close to Fira though since all the very inexpensive Metro buses terminate in Fira and the island is tiny so you can do easy trips from the bus terminal to all parts of the island and there is really no need to rent a car.

    A lovely location with the caldera view, with a scenic costal walkway to the next town, Fira. There is also a public bus that goes to Fira. But do find out the schedules before hand and where the bus stops are located. It also has nice restaurants and ahops within walking dustance. The food at Aktation restaurant was delicious.

    Having travelled to all parts of the island, we thought Firostefani was the best location as it was relatively quiet, easy to walk to Firo bus station and had excellent views of the sunset. A nice selection of local restaurants.

    Beautiful views to la caldera, less tourist than Oia close to the harbour is well locate to take connections to other part of the island. The main square has lots of restaurants from Chinese, Thai, Greek, Italian, Japanese etc.

    If you are looking for the most amazing view; this is the place. The biggest challenge is getting around... you will need a car or a 4-wheeler to get around here. Taxis are charging 35 euros for any length of trip one way... if you want to go anywhere and see the island you will be paying a lot for taxis.

    Costly, but best place to stay in Santorini as it is centrally located. There are lots of eateries and shops nearby that you can visit. 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre where there are a lot of shops if you need to buy local stuff.

    Amazing experience . First thanks to all the staff at the Cliff Side Suites.Our first experience in Santorini and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The view was amazing looking out from my room .Staff was really helpful,especially thanks to “James”with the suggestion and booking excursions to make this the perfect short break . The moment you step out the hotel there lots of shops and restaurants so you don’t have walk far , just only 10-15 mins walk to Fira .. hopefully will be back one day

    Our stay at Sunset Hotel was perfect. The location couldn't be better. It's away from the noise of Thira, but close enough to walk. The sunset from the hotel is the best you can find anywhere, allowing us to enjoy it with a glass of wine without having to reserve a table at one of the more expensive caldera-view restaurants, where the food isn't the best. Truly perfect. If we return to Santorini, we'll definitely stay at Sunset Hotel again

    The staffs are superb and friendly. The hotel comes with beautiful view of Santorini, it's quiet and you could relax and take in the view. The hotel is in middle of 2 town, which you could walk or take a bus to go another part of Santorini (it's not expensive and it's easy to get there).
