On The Rocks is ideally situated in the famous village of Imerovigli. It is only 2 km from Fira town and built on the steep rocks, 200 metres from the Caldera basin.

The hotel has a perfect location in Imerovigli, directly on the path between Fira and Oia. The view is spectacular and the staff, particularly the reception staff, was kind and helpful in providing information and advice. Rooms are all different in size and orientation due to the location of the hotel, which is literally on the rocks. We loved the view from our room and the terrace, and from basically any part of the hotel. The room was comfortable despite the fact that it was "special" as literally being built on the rocks.

The Casa Bianca is a small boutique-style property offering stylish accommodation in the centre of Imerovigli village.

I had breakfast an it was vertical good , served in The room. Place is very good to stay. Well localized . Hotel staff are very good. Only is dificult to park as any place in Santorini .

Gold Suites is situated in Imerovigli, right on the cliff of the Caldera. It has uninterrupted views to the Volcanic crater and offers modern accommodation with traditional Cycladic elements.

There are many things that were spectacular about the place. For starters, the location was absolutely ideal and the room had an unreal view. When booking the place we were afraid the pictures would not reflect the reality, however this was far from the case, and the suite was beautiful and comfortable.

    Best place for staying in santorini. On the cliff of the Caldera of Santorini Imerovigli has amazing view of the sea, the sunset, the volcano, yet still combines the tranquility as it remains one of the most quiet spots of the caldera.

    Santorini's season end in early to mid-November.

    Santorini's season end in early to mid-November. Our online research really show this right away. So I'd say the more ideal time to travel there, off-peak, is October. That said, we enjoyed the quietness of the island and the lack of tourist crowds.

    Imerovigli is a small and quiet, very walkable.

    Imerovigli is a small and quiet, very walkable. It has little shops, cafe's, restaurants and even a grocery store. Tourists from Fira or Oia pass through so it doesn't get very crowded. The view of the caldera is spectacular. If you are looking for a place to watch the sunrise and the sunset in one spot then this is the place. It's a place to unwind and just enjoy the view. I required a hotel room with a plunge pool and I found hotels were 1/3 of the price here from the hotels in Oia. We stayed at Altana Heritage Suites. We were treated like VIP's. We explored a little bit of Fira and Oia but stayed in the plunge pool of our hotel room and relaxed most of the 2 days of our stay.

    This town was perfect for a quieter atmosphere in the off season. If you plan on doing the ridge walk it works as you can do the walk to Fira one day and then the walk to Oiathe next day. The sunset views from Imerovigli are arguably as good if not better than Oia. Great restaurants even if off season and great 24hr store - invaluable!

    It depends on what one is looking for.

    It depends on what one is looking for. We were mesmerised by the breathtaking view from our rooms / private pool. There was so much to take in. If one is looking for lots of people anf entertainment only then this option is not the best. For us it was well balanced . The host put us in touch with a taxi service with rates were reasonable (we cross checked). We took a cab to a beach club, to get to a restaurant or for joining a tour. We may have spent a bit on transport but it was worth it! We would have missed the spectacular view of the sunset and an unobstructed panoramic view of the sea.

    The location and view was perfect . The complimentary upgrade was much appreciated as we were offered the deluxe honeymoon suite which was absolutely stunning . This is a fantastic place to stay and the staff was superior

    Spectacular view from our suite. We booked the master suite with a pool - well sized rooms and beds with enough privacy and a private pool to use at any time .Hotel well located. Helpful staff that assisted us with transfers from port and to airport and, restaurants and excursions bookings. Hotel very close to shops for quick meal, snacks and other essentials. Visited a lovely restaurant very close to the hotel.Note there are plenty stairs to manage- beauty of Santorini. Also have porters to help carry luggage to and from room.

    Perfect location for our stay In Santorini. The hotel and its staff totally lived up to the glowing reviews I had read before booking. Beautiful views, simple comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and an attentive friendly team of staff in hand when ever you needed them. Thoroughly recommend for a trip away from but within easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Thera and Oia.

    This is our second stay at Gold Suites in Santorini. Our first was back in 2017 and the hotel did not disappoint. I did find that the internet service was a little weak and intermittent, but beyond that the hotel is nice, rooms are comfortable, the views are exceptional and the staff was above excellent. Especially Harris and Maria.
