Great boutique resort. Check-in was great with a welcome wine or beer. Rooms were modern, fresh and super comfy beds and the aircon worked a treat and was quiet. There is free car parking about 100 metres away. Pool was great and had a nice relaxing feel about it. It was an easy walk into the old town, restuarants and nightlife. It was easy getting to beaches on the island with our car.

This is a family-run business with the KINDEST staff we have ever met. Truly, the staff was the best part. They were so warm and gracious, never without a smile. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, they brought us the most refreshing fresh-squeezed fruit juices of our choice. So kind! Over time, we absolutely loved chatting with them anytime we'd walk through the reception area, and they seemed to genuinely enjoy chatting with their guests in turn.
Breakfast options are amazing, and the outside seating area made for the cutest, coziest breakfasts!
Also can't beat the location--just a 2 minute walk from the port and many food options.

Great hotel in a perfect location in Ios. At night Ios can get really loud in the alleyways so it’s nice to go back to a hotel that is more quiet. Lots of nice areas outside for guests to hang out, and very nice and helpful staff!

I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized island like its famous neighbour Santorini. We rented a car one day and saw Homer‘s supposed resting place and a Byzantine castle, a wonderful goat farm with tours and great choices of cheeses run by very eloquent and multilingual owners, a large number of bigger and smaller beaches on all sides of Ios and even ran into a goat herd and visited one of several monasteries. Ios town is cute and very walkable with a lively vibe and we witnessed a folklore dance performance by various groups of dancers from other islands, adults and children, on the main square. 3-4 full days might be the right length, but we had 5 and used one for a day trip to Santorini. I prefer Ios despite the other islands‘ amazing promenades and oozing luxury feel.

I recently visited Ios and had a mixed experience.
I recently visited Ios and had a mixed experience. Here are my thoughts:
Scenic Views: Ios is pretty, but not as picturesque as I had hoped. Some areas are nice, but it doesn't quite match up to other Greek islands.
Cost: The island is quite pricey for what it offers. I felt like I was paying more than what I got in return.
Nightlife: There are lots of young tourists, and the nightlife is very active. However, this means there are a lot of drunk people around, which can be a bit much.
Food: The food is tasty, but the portions are smaller than expected, especially for the price.
Beaches: The beaches are nice and a definite highlight. I enjoyed the clear water and the sandy shores.
Parking: Finding a parking space was surprisingly easy, which made getting around a lot less stressful.
Overall, Ios has its ups and downs. If you love beaches and don't mind the party scene, it could be worth a visit. But if you're looking for stunning scenery and good value for money, you might want to consider other options.

Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios.
Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios. It's full of friendly local people, and a mix of expats who have made their homes there, or who visit year after year because of the island's ambience. My stay was over the Easter period, which in itself is a marvelous opportunity to observe or partake in the ages-old traditions of the Greek Orthodox religion. Later in the year, as the temperatures heat up, the town welcomes a much younger crowd, as bars and nightclubs open up to transform Ios into "party island"!

Ios is a beautiful island.
Ios is a beautiful island. The beaches, the food, the people, the buildings, the scenery, the nightlife, the chill factor but most of all the overall vibe is the best of any of the Greek islands I have visited and I can’t wait to go back there. The boat trip taking you to the 6 beaches is amazing with snorkelling thrown in. The square and its bars is a must. Sunsets in various location are stunning and the local traditional restaurants provide amazing food at reasonable prices

The pool was clean and the top rooms had an incredible view. We stayed in some higher rated accomodation afterwards but nothing compared to the view we had from our room in this hotel. As for the hygiene, we were extremely concerned prior to booking our stay due to the reviews. By no means is it a 5 star hotel but it definitely isn’t as bad as the reviews make it out to be. For sure coming back here next year and booking a longer stay.
This hotel exceeded all expectations. The location and view were amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The welcome drink overlooking the sea view was a lovely touch. The breakfasts were the best we’ve had in Greece. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Friendly helpful staff. The receptionist kindly upgraded our room to one with a balcony which added to the experience. Also recommended some local restaurants which were excellent.
Convenient location with scenic views.Highly recommended this Hotel
the hotel was very nice .. the view was amazing ... the owners of the hotel were super nice and super helpful.. the only downfall is the hill to go up to the hotel but I guess this is expected in greece
