This was one of the best stays of my life. The location is amazing. The views are perfect. You feel like you have a little slice of heaven! It’s 5 min walk from la grotta. The family who owns and runs this place are the nicest humans I have ever met. I was traveling alone and they were like family! I told them I wanted to hike so they took me to the castle and I had such a great day. Came back and hung out with the family and we all had dinner together. I want to come back to Corfu not only because it’s beautiful but bc of the amazing hospitality there. My heart is so full! And I will be back! They even gave me homemade cake in the morning. And made sure I had a wonderful stay!
Paradise Apartments enjoys a location in Paleokastritsa, 5.3 miles from Angelokastro and 14 miles from Port of Corfu. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay....

Great location! Parking included. Short walk to restaurants, beaches, supermarkets. Enjoyed our balcony view and two bedrooms. We were greeted at arrival and Magda assisted with directions for driving to the apartment vs walking. Very clean apartment.
Blending views of the surrounding greenery and the turquoise waters, Katerina Studios are set on a hill in the scenic Paleokastritsa. Magnificent Ionian Sea views are enjoyed.

The view from the balcony is stunning. We really enjoyed the balcony for breakfast and for a glass of wine in the fresh evening. The bed is really comfortable. The cats around are absolutely adorable. Katerina is really nice and always available. The private parking under a big olive tree.

Paleokastritsa is truly one of the most stunning places I’ve...
Paleokastritsa is truly one of the most stunning places I’ve ever visited. This little coastal town in Corfu feels like a hidden paradise. It’s surrounded by lush green hills, turquoise bays, and breathtaking cliffs that drop straight into the sea - it honestly looks like something out of a postcard.
What I loved most was the perfect combination of natural beauty and peaceful vibes. The area has a relaxed, authentic charm with friendly locals, cozy tavernas, and plenty of quiet spots to just unwind and enjoy the view. Whether you're exploring the nearby beaches, taking a boat tour to the caves, or visiting the famous monastery on the hill, there's always something beautiful to see.
It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel calm and connected to nature. I would absolutely recommend Paleokastritsa to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in Corfu.

We liked visiting at Easter and combining walks in the hills ( part of Corfu Trail), visiting local monastery, beautiful beaches and a day in Corfu Town ( Museum of Asian Arts & coffee and brandy in the square by Town Hall)

Excellent, lots of activities, beach, and beautiful scenic places. Places to eat restaurants are nice but a bit pricier than other places. Getting to the beaches are easy and you can go through bars/ restaurants to access them. There aren’t a lot of shops though if you want to browse for nice souvenirs etc. If you hike to Angelokastro, make sure you take the donkey trail which is the first left uphill from Odeysseus Hotel, it is more direct to Lakones village otherwise you might walk the longer roundabout way. It is quiet and peaceful at night time.

Crystal clear, turquoise blue waters.
Crystal clear, turquoise blue waters. Stunning views at every turn. Friendly people.
Best time to visit is when the massive crowds are gone in either mid-May or October as the restaurants and taverns are still open. They close end October for the winter break.

We loved the beaches here, lovely for a swim and the water...
We loved the beaches here, lovely for a swim and the water is crystal clear. Plenty of places to eat afterwards too - my wife and I tried most of the local restaurants, we enjoyed Nikos on the left side of Agios Spiridon, Andreas' Tavern up the hill also. I'd avoid the restaurant/bar at the centre of the beach as they were very expensive and the portions were very small.
Day activities worth doing - hiring a boat to explore the local coves and beaches is a lot of fun and you can access the quieter and sometimes empty beaches locally. There's an old donkey path that leads to the village Lakones above Paleo; great to go up, grab a coffee at one of the cafes and enjoy the view of the bays from above. We tried a place called Dolce just outside the village and they had fantastic views with great food.

We had 4 days in mid October.
We had 4 days in mid October. It was perfect for us, as we just wanted to relax, swim and read. We did a couple of walks: up to the monastery, a long hike up to the village of Lakones, and another one to a beach further along the coast. We were using the busses which was fine for our time there, but if I had stayed longer I would have wanted to venture further, and a car would have been useful.
The beach wasn't packed and it was quiet at night, I'm not sure how much this would change during peak season.

Maria was the most generous and kind host you could ask for. She went above and beyond for us, ordered us not only a taxi from the airport when we arrived but also one a week after our stay when we were transiting through corfu to get home. The location was also great! Only 20 minute walk to multiple beaches in different directions. I couldn't recommend Maria's studio more, it was very comfortable and spacious with a big balcony too! There was also a very cute and cheap gyros and cocktail place nearby which we visited frequently.
Absolutely 10/10 everything was perfect, location was brilliant with shops and nice restaurants at walking distance , very good size pool ,but the best of this stay for us were the host. They were amazing, they made us feel home from day 1, very friendly and helpful.
Loved being at the bar having a chat and a laugh with them, also the food and cocktails were very good.
We will 100% go back to Corfu and stay at Maria Studios again :)
The location of this hotel is perfect, right by the beach and a range of restaurants, shops and boat trips. The bay is busy during the day but quiet and relaxing in the evening. The view of the bay from our room was gorgeous. The Greek yogurt served with honey and walnuts at breakfast was delicious. Easy to book competitively priced car hire at reception. Regular and reliable bus service in to Corfu town.
We have loved our mini holiday in Corfù. Paleokastritsa coast is stunning and our accommodation was very comfortable, clean and the view is AMAZING. We will definitely suggest Akis Apartments to our friends and family as a lovely place to stay. P.S. Mrs Stamatia was very helpful and lovely
