Welcoming. Very good sized, well appointed and comfortable room. No trouble parking outside (but car park very close if needed). Breakfast - there was a good range of food and drink at €12. There are restaurants not far away but if all you want is something fairly light in the evening then try the top floor bar (good views and where you can things like pasta bolognese and I think they had pizza or burger and some smaller hot snacks).
Featuring a bar, Mediterranee is situated in the centre of Patra, a 9-minute walk from Psila Alonia Square. The property is close to Patras Port, Roman Theatre of Patras and Patras Castle.

This was the second time that I chose this hotel.
The location is great as it is in the city center and you can park right outside the hotel for a few hours. The staff is really great and polite.
Regarding the facilities, the rooms are quite outdated. A small renovation is definitely needed.
Breakfast is fair enough.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation.
The location is perfect, at the heart of city center.
The place was really clean and the bed was so comfortable.
Also, the self check-in process was very convenient and the hotel staff was really fast responding to our messages instantly. We highly recommend it!!

Exceptional Stay at Maison Grecque!
We had a truly wonderful experience at Maison Grecque Hotel Extraordinaire. The hotel is beautifully designed with a unique blend of elegance and charm — every corner feels thoughtfully curated. Our room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with all the little details that make a difference.
The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with local tips and recommendations.
The location is perfect — quiet yet very central, with easy access to the main sights and restaurants. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served with care in a lovely setting.
Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing stay. We would absolutely recommend Maison Grecque to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future!

From here, you can use a bus to reach Kiato, Corinth and Athens very cheaply. It is a beautiful town with nice monuments and ancient traditions. Pleasant city, active nightlife, many shops and excellent cuisine. From the Gulf of Patra you enter the Peloponnese. It is the right place to start a trip to Greece if you arrive by ferry from Italy, either with your own vehicle or simply on foot.

Patra has some great archaeological sites & a castle but don't visit on a Tuesday as they are closed all day. It was easy to walk where I wanted to. There were lots of buses but I didn't have time to find out where you could travel to. So for those who don't want to walk I'm sure public transport could be an option. There were many bars & cafes. Interesting street & shops. You are close to the port if you wish to get a ferry to somewhere.

Patra is not a city for tourists.
Patra is not a city for tourists. It is very dirty, there is glass and rubbish on every street and it is difficult to get around. We went for over a week for a hotel staycation but massively regretted it and couldn’t wait to leave. Food options are limited. Google maps listings are outdated and incorrect and it is just not a nice place for a tourist to be.

The city is lively and vibrant with many cafes etc., nice murals... but I was surprised it looks quite run down. Unfinished buildings, grafitti, unpaved areas, dried lawns and flowers, old benches, fountain not working, lots of beggars.
Does it deserve a better management/ mayor? The castle area has such a huge potential. A few cafes there and a pavement just in the process of building... but what have they been doing the last 10-15 years? As if the city was sleeping.... what is the story?
In my eyes, at the moment, just for a necessary stay over if you travel by ferry.

Nice and charming city, with typical architecture for cities in Greece, all buildings almost the same size and very close to each other with narrow streets and sidewalks (looks chaotic and cute at the same time). Lots of cafes and restaurants in the city center. Visited for the New Year and were surprised how everything was decorated, every street, square, tree... Do not miss the fortress and the view from there.
Sunset is great as the city is oriented to the west.
Also highly recommend to visit Archaia Olympia (where Olympic games in ancient Greece were held) which is 1.5 hours away by car.
Be careful in the traffic in the city center as it is very chaotic, during 5 days experienced several cases where cars just did not stop on a red light (when for pedestrians was green!).
Another negative side - extremely expensive fee for driving over the bridge if entering the city from north (14.7 eur per car for one direction!)

This is my third stay at this outstanding hotel in the centre of Patras, where everyone is so professional and delightful.
The rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable, and nothing is missing.
It is a real gem at a very good price.
A really 4 star hotel in Greece. We traveled a lot and very few that have 4 stars are really at a 4 star west European level. This one is. Very comfortable, clean and good food on a great roof top terrace. The bar is also classic and chic :)
The hotel is located in a very good location, easy to access many of the main sights of the Patras city. The parking is big advantage of the hotel.
Breakfast was very good.
