Guest reviewVery nice and clean hotel. Just right on the edge of the city, you can go by foot easily. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. There is no elevator so keep that in mind. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice historic city.
Very nice historic city. It has several interesting sites to visit, from different époques. Nice restaurants and friendly people. The language is a bit problematic as all the signs and information is written only in Hungarian. What is even greater is that there are two nice spa centers in surroundings (20-30km) and a wine region (nice villages), so it is nice to visit them during your stay, as they nicely complement cultural offer Pecz provides.Guest review byAleksandraSerbia - Review score10.0

There are amazing views over Pecs if , and that is a big if, the advertised views from your accommodation are real - often there is a view if you are in exactly the right room or part of the building, and if not, tough luck. I have been there before and loved it; but the very disappointing room this time tainted the experience. So pick your place carefully - eg. don't be beguiled with stories of fabulous views over the city - check for yourself, and consider carefully if you would rather have a great view or easy and quick access to the many fantastic squares and buildings and museums etc. downtown and near downtown. Pécs is a lovely place in Hungary with an expansive cultural heritage. The Cathedral, Széchenyi square and Zsolnay quarter are just a few of the must see spots. You can have very good food and wine (or beer) in Király street. If you're feeling adventurous, Mecsek has the most amazing trails But even if you don't have whole day for hiking just make sure to visit Tettye and walk up to the observatory there. Pécs is doable by foot most of the times, but has very accessible bus service as well. You can buy tickets on the bus with cash (forint). Make sure to check the actual events (and book in advance) to experience the street market vibes, when all the best wineries of Hungary and traditional food stalls represent themselves. Pecs is a terrific little picturesque town with heaps of interesting churches, a mosque, a synagogue, museums and ancient burial sites. Most things are very close by. On Sunday everything is closed except cafes and it's like a ghost town which is good for avoiding hordes of tourists. Pecs is neat as a pin and would probably win a tidy town contest. There's plenty of food places and our favorite was the Korheli pub. I'm glad we chose to stop here for a couple of nights.Guest review byBeachmasterAustralia

Every place is clean, there are machines, all the items you need daily. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is very nice. Be sure to come to Pecs city. It has a little distance to the train station, but when you enter the hotel, you will not care about that distance at all. You will understand it worth your visit and stay. We booked a suite again (not a regular room), and it met our expectations. The suite 'living area' is separated from the 'sleeping area' with a wall, so you can sit on a corner sofa and watch TV, and you won't disturb someone who decided to sleep.
