The staff at Reception was really professional, extremely efficient and very kind, allowing to check in even before 2 pm. The rooms are clean and the bathroom very nice. You can have a coffee or tea in the room. Parking is also ensured and free for hotel guests.

Most museums were closed and so we had very few options to do. Most shops were also closed. We still enjoyed checking out the historical architecture... the old town was really sweet, lots to admire. Roman remains, Renaissance buildings, Fire Tower, good coffee and good food :)

Sopron is a pleasant relaxed city.
Sopron is a pleasant relaxed city. We appreciated the relative quietness of the place and that we could wander around without bumping into crowds. The old town is charming, and the 'Healing Pit' (Gyógy Gödör) is a great pub/restaurant. The food and drinks are delicious and the service is very good.

I use this hotel every time I am in Sopron on business, average two times a year unless it is fully booked up. It is under new management ( I have used it for 15 years ). The one criticism of the hotel is that checkout is at 10AM whereas most hotels of this standard checkout at 12, and that was the case before the new management took over. Beware!

Great place a short walk from the centre of town, the co-owner was very helpful and managed everything I needed. Parking in front of the hotel for free.
Small Café is attached to the hotel but I didn´t use it, breakfast is simpe but sufficient.
I´ll be back.
The locality, apartment interior, parking, availability, and hospitality of the owner, as well as the price, cleanliness, equipment, and comfort, all suited my needs perfectly. I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to visitors to Sopron.
A big room, with a big balcony. Also a big bathroom, plus a big shopping mall (by Sopron standard) in front of the hotel. Friendly staff members, a lovely hammam ...
