I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for so long, and the opportunity finally came up over Nyepi—it was everything I had hoped for and more. The property is absolutely beautiful, regal, and immaculately clean. My upper-level room was light, bright, and free from any mold, making for such a fresh and comfortable stay.
A very quiet location away from the bustle of Bali.
The grounds are simply spectacular, and the pool… well, it felt like 500 meters long! Swimming there was an absolute dream. The energy of this place is incredible—peaceful, luxurious, and right on a little beach, making it feel even more special.
The staff were incredibly kind, and their English was great, making everything smooth and welcoming. For a five-star experience in such a quiet, magical location, the pricing was beyond fair. Considering the value—including the amazing food—I could have stayed somewhere in Ubud for the same price and had a much less enjoyable experience. Instead, I was standing on the beach, looking back at the hotel, thinking, "Oh my, my dream has come true."
So very thankful for this stay—it exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting amongst the rice terrace - but this meant there were a lot of ants. The villa roofs were covered in plants which again meant more ants… the restaurant tables were frequented by ants. That’s not to say it isn’t a beautiful spot - and the infinity pools are gorgeous - and the main pool was stunning. Lots of positives! But lots of bugs to go with. This could have been improved with more diligent housekeeping. We did have one occasion where we came back to dishes just piled up outside the room - of course attracting ants - that housekeeping had left there.
Just in front of Keramas Beach, Hotel Komune and Beach Club Bali offers a relaxed atmosphere with an adult-only outdoor pool and massage treatments. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

There are quite a few places to stay in the area. High end ones like Kommune and Desa Swan Villas are incredible but some of the more budget ones are almost as good.
Make sure you eat at one of the beachside warungs. Great quality, freshly cooked food at amzing prices. You might get a bonus duck parade if you time it right!

Unfortunately, the reception staff are not flexible in dealing, the housekeeping knock on the tools and doors forcefully in corridor without taking into account the comfort and sleep of the guests, there are no breakfast options and the same menu every day, the hotel does not deserve more than three stars, and the cost for the service is bad, it was a very bad experience

Excellent surf spot offering slightly better weather (less clouds than the other coasts in my experience). Up and coming area with lots of new developments happening. A great place to spend your money and invest away from all the chaos of Sanur etc.
Black volcanic sand beach. The famous White Sands beach a short drive away

We already miss our large private quite friendly beautiful villa at Desa Swans!! # 16 is great!! And we just left today. A home away from home with a private pool!!
We are now in a tiny beach hut with semi working air conditioning and semi poor customer service :(
I don’t know if we will return to Bali but if we do we’d love to come back to Desa Swan. We are visiting our son who is a surf coach with a month off and the surf was excellent in Keramas.

Keramas/Saba is a quiet seaside area with minimal development although this looks to be changing.
The beach is black sand and not one you would want to laze about on. There is a lot if plastic rubbish at the beach access points. It is a surf beach.
The area we stayed in, Saba, was quite isolated and you would be best to have your own transport.
Ubud and Candi Dasa are an easy drive away.

This Hotel prices are affordable and the Villa Casablanca value is high.
The location is 2-3 minutes from the beach, and this is a mecca center for people who want the water activities (surfing) or just chill out around the pool area.
The staff and especially the manager Anies is doing a great job to make her guests feel good, l will come back...
The best pizza in Bali...
Love this place, rooms spacious and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are attentive. Delightful pool and gardens with lots of seating areas. Food in Genius cafe is a bit more expensive compared to other places in Bali but the menu is varied and food fresh and beautifully presented. I’d happily return for a third time!
The property is set in a good location. And looks like a dreamy, picturesque mansion. Its close proximity to the Bali Safari and Marine Park was an added bonus to us.
