The host was such a sweet person, he helped us with all our needs, renting us his bike and offering a laundry service. As we didn't know how to get to the bus station he even drove us there! :) The room was very decent for the price and had everything one could need :) Thank you for the lovely stay :)

    Very happy we made a detour to Pangandaran.

    Very happy we made a detour to Pangandaran. The highlight is the green valley and canyon tour. You can also get a tour in the national park which is super nice and if you have time a surf lesson. We visited during the week so it was fairly quiet, lovely sunset and they had an event with live music and DJ on the beach. At the weekend we heard this place can get very busy with people from the city coming as well as the tourists there to surf and explore.

    It is the only place that I know that you have to pay to...

    It is the only place that I know that you have to pay to enter the town of Pangandaran. Strange considering the place has not changed much since my last visit last year. Pangandaran needs a petrol station inside the town (even if it is a small station) rather than having to go out of town and pay to go back into Pangandaran. Awesome place. People are friendly.

    Our stay at Bale’ku was just fantastic. The owners were exceptionally kind and friendly, the bungalows were beautifully unique and the view was unmatched. Alongside the delicious breakfast, we ate dinner here every night and the food and service was top notch. We also can’t recommend the tour to the green valley and green canyon that Bale’ku organised for us enough - it was an amazing (if not exhausting!) full day out, and so reasonably priced. If you are planning on visiting Pangandaran, Bale’ku is absolutely the place to stay!

    Such a nice place to stay in Pangandaran! Opportunity to meet other travels, lots of activities arranged from the guest house, enough space to chill if you'd like. If you get a chance to join Dindin and Nico on the green canyon tour, I can highly recommend! All the staff are super friendly :)

    Only a road separates the hotel from the black sand beach. The beach and accommodation are aimed at a domestic guests. The staff are very friendly and speak a little English. The national park within walking distance is worth a visit.

    There was nothing good about my 'stay'. There was no one at the hotel, so I was just bothering the neighbours trying to figure out what was going on. They didn't speak English and all I could understand was 'no applikasi'.

    The location was beautiful, between pangandaran and the green canyon! The breakfast was really nice, there were 4 options to choose from which was really nice. The views were amazing and the sound from the sea so soothing.
