Very happy we made a detour to Pangandaran.
Very happy we made a detour to Pangandaran. The highlight is the green valley and canyon tour. You can also get a tour in the national park which is super nice and if you have time a surf lesson. We visited during the week so it was fairly quiet, lovely sunset and they had an event with live music and DJ on the beach. It is the only place that I know that you have to pay to...
It is the only place that I know that you have to pay to enter the town of Pangandaran. Strange considering the place has not changed much since my last visit last year. Pangandaran needs a petrol station inside the town (even if it is a small station) rather than having to go out of town and pay to go back into Pangandaran. Awesome place. The owners were exceptionally kind and friendly, the bungalows were beautifully unique and the view was unmatched. Alongside the delicious breakfast, we ate dinner here every night and the food and service was top notch. We also can’t recommend the tour to the green valley and green canyon that Bale’ku organised for us enough - it was an amazing (if not exhausting!) full day out, and so reasonably priced.
