One of the nicer places we had stayed during this trip. Staff very helpful. Room was very comfortable, and the Breakfast layout was very nice. When the elevator didn't work early on our departure, the porter carried our bags for us without asking. Very nice people.

Hi I got this hotel before taking a flight the next day. It's about a 7 min drive. I had breakfast to go box, where I filled it up with buffet items. They gave me a room with no window and asked if that was OK but gave no alternative. The room was small, but my friend and I were able to manage. Staff were friendly but seemed confused at times. Overall it was OK.

Great, safe and comfortable budget accommodation if traveling through or staying in Sorong. The host Adele was brilliant. Her friendly approach, good English and local knowledge were really appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, though it's not a holiday resort.

Sorong served as a stopover before our liveaboard dive trip...
Sorong served as a stopover before our liveaboard dive trip to Raja Ampat. The journey to Sorong was quite lengthy - two flights from Manila, so I chose to rest before diving. We attempted to explore the island by visiting the Pagoda and the local market for a cultural experience, but there wasn't much to see beyond the islands themselves. Overall, Sorong seems more like a transit point than a destination in its own right.

The people were very friendly. I took a 7km walk to explore.
The people were very friendly. I took a 7km walk to explore. Pagoda has lovely views. Not too much else to explore except life. One bonus I walked into a soccer match with all the village. It was a true highlight.
