Writing this while still at Ketut’s on our last night, and we already don’t want to leave! This place is everything you see online and more. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and humble, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
Our room was cleaned daily to an exceptional standard, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool area was the perfect place to relax. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ketut himself—such a warm and wonderful man. And of course, we can’t forget Cleo, the coolest dog around!
If you’re planning a trip, make sure Ketut’s is part of your accommodation plans. You won’t regret it!

We were a group of 8 people staying here. We liked the hotel in general. The personnel and the location are great. It is located in close proximity on walk to most of Ubud's attractions. The area and the pool are beautiful, as well as rooms. It was nice to stay there.
We also recommend massage behind the hotel. It was the best one we have tried.

Ubud is alot busier now however it is still walkable. Motorbike transport seems the go but not for me or Julie{wife} Good variety of places to eat, not necessarily on main street. Bintang and Coco supermarkets are excellent places to buy food etc

Ubud is very nice and different from the coastal locations in Bali. Like other places in Bali, the infrastructure hasn't been maintained (roads and footpaths are in very bad condition in the centre of town). The traffic can be horrendous at times. Get out and about and see the sites around Ubud. It's a very scenic location. Nice shops and plenty of good quality restaurants in town. The locals are very friendly.

Ubud is a peaceful destination.
Ubud is a peaceful destination. The culture, Temples, palaces, rice fields and waterfalls are a must.
There is plenty to do, one of my favourite things was the Hesa Wellness Spa. A definite must do if you want to relax and unwind.
We had a local driver who taught us so much about the local area and drove us to waterfalls, rice fields and temples.

I came here to do yoga so I was in heaven going to Yoga Barn and Alchemy. They are like a dream come true for me. Ubud is a whole lot busier and a bit dirtier l than I imagined but I loved it anyway. The Monkey Forest is incredible! I enjoyed the Water Palace and the the central palace and downtown but didn't do that many other tourist things. I love the healthy restaurants and food. I want to come back for much longer. There are many peaceful enclaves and fantastic budget friendly placed to say like Sandat where I stayed.

Ubud is my favorite place in Bali. I love to be here, just walking in the streets and rise fields, enjoy tasty food in restaurants, great shopping, visit temples and monkey forest, go to yoga classes and take a relaxing massage in Balinese spa.

Ubud is changing. The traffic can be a bit challenging.
Ubud is changing. The traffic can be a bit challenging. But, the people and the culture here is why I came. There are plenty of choices for accommodations but I wanted to be away from the busy town and found Villa Imogiri in Sebali. I love the bar The Lair and Night Rooster. Hujan Local is also a great restaurant. Sunny coffee on Hanoman street and Ubud Roastery.

Ibah is simply beautiful. It has an ancient and natural atmosphere, exactly what I was looking for, it summarises the essence of Bali. We booked the Frangipani villa with private pool, which was just amasing. I loved their environment-conscious attitude, they were only using natural materials all over the hotel. We liked the afternoon tea, the dinner and the breakfast, too. There is a magic around the place, which makes you feeling relaxed immediately. I would return any time!
Everything! We had a 2-bedroom presidential pool villa with jacuzzi and rice terrace for one whole week and it was far and away the best place we have EVER stayed in Bali, after many trips where we always visit multiple hotels/resorts/villas. The service, the food, the views, the villa itself….absolutely incredible!
This was the best stay I had in Bali and Singapore, albeit the other hotels were 4 and 5 star. The staff is excellent, they took care of me when I have fallen ill with Bali belly and were do accomodating with the food. The location is great, close to everything, rooms very true to the pictures and impeccably clean.
The setting is unreal. Soooo beautiful so serene. Cute houses, rice fields and jungle around. Roof is nice and authentically stylish.
I mean it’s not luxurious but for the price it’s one of the best deals in Ubud and much better than other hotels of that price category
Nice and helpful staff. Very nice private Villa with private pool. Breakfast daily on the villas terrace. The location is good (Get the app Gojek - kinda like uber to get araound very cheap)
