Location-little deep inside the road, so bit walk from palace.
Room-Uncomfortable as bed is small. Almost no table n chair to use. Too many lizards.
Ambience-Looks beautiful surrounding with good greenery & Pool.
Food-Limited (no buffet) but good if you eat egg (no pure veg).
Reception & staff leaves at 10pm and returns at 7am. So, its deserted after 10pm.
Overall - Not recommended for families as feels lonely & lizards.

All perfect!! The only thing that I miss it’s a curtain on the shower - because it’s a mess to shower on the bath without that- beside that detail everything was amazing!

Ubud is alot busier now however it is still walkable. Motorbike transport seems the go but not for me or Julie{wife} Good variety of places to eat, not necessarily on main street. Bintang and Coco supermarkets are excellent places to buy food etc

Ubud is very nice and different from the coastal locations in Bali. Like other places in Bali, the infrastructure hasn't been maintained (roads and footpaths are in very bad condition in the centre of town). The traffic can be horrendous at times. Get out and about and see the sites around Ubud. It's a very scenic location. Nice shops and plenty of good quality restaurants in town. The locals are very friendly.

Ubud is a peaceful destination.
Ubud is a peaceful destination. The culture, Temples, palaces, rice fields and waterfalls are a must.
There is plenty to do, one of my favourite things was the Hesa Wellness Spa. A definite must do if you want to relax and unwind.
We had a local driver who taught us so much about the local area and drove us to waterfalls, rice fields and temples.

I came here to do yoga so I was in heaven going to Yoga Barn and Alchemy. They are like a dream come true for me. Ubud is a whole lot busier and a bit dirtier l than I imagined but I loved it anyway. The Monkey Forest is incredible! I enjoyed the Water Palace and the the central palace and downtown but didn't do that many other tourist things. I love the healthy restaurants and food. I want to come back for much longer. There are many peaceful enclaves and fantastic budget friendly placed to say like Sandat where I stayed.

Ubud is my favorite place in Bali. I love to be here, just walking in the streets and rise fields, enjoy tasty food in restaurants, great shopping, visit temples and monkey forest, go to yoga classes and take a relaxing massage in Balinese spa.

Ubud is changing. The traffic can be a bit challenging.
Ubud is changing. The traffic can be a bit challenging. But, the people and the culture here is why I came. There are plenty of choices for accommodations but I wanted to be away from the busy town and found Villa Imogiri in Sebali. I love the bar The Lair and Night Rooster. Hujan Local is also a great restaurant. Sunny coffee on Hanoman street and Ubud Roastery.

We stayed in a villa with a private pool and it was one of the most gorgeous hotels we’ve stayed at. It was so clean and beautiful. The pool was lovely and the trees/plants enabled total privacy. The bed was comfy and overlooked the pool, which was so lovely to wake up to. The bathroom was big and spacious and the air con was amazing, kept us cool throughout the night. We really did not want to leave.
The staff were amazing and so kind/professional at all times. Thank you so much!!
The villa with private pool was very nice and clean.
The view of the forest was magnificent.
The staff super kind and helpful.
You can hear just nature all around the hotel because is up the hill of Ubud
Free shuttle available to the Ubud Palace and center of the city
Breakfast was amazing, you can choose anything from the manu and the staff at the restaurant are extremely kind and accomodating.
Fantastic hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing (presentation, flavours, everything top). Location and views were stunning. This was one of the best hotels we have ever been to. We stayed in a private villa with pool, very spacious, very well maintained and designed with extraordinary view on the jungle. Don't have doubts, this hotel is expensive, but well worth the money.
We had a room with private pool, which is terrific. The resort has been around for quite some time, but furniture seem well maintained and doesn't feel dated/aged. (compared to big chain hotels of similar age). Also great view from room and very sizable room
Then it's the beautiful scenery at the main pool, stunning.
I stayed one night in a villa and one night in a villa with private pool. Amazing! The pool was perfect. More isolated than I expected. Really comfy bed.
Staff were lovely.
Last minute deal so was super cheap.
