The whole package that makes your hotel stay a wonderful experience is there and for a very reasonable price. It simply works from the great staff, the comfy room and good food. On top of that the sea air and the gentle noise of the waves made for a restful night. If only all my stays were like this one.

We had dinner in the restaurant upon arrival and truly enjoyed the staff, especially Trish. She made our stay extra special! The dinner was delicious and definitely an exceptional quality for the value.

The staff was very friendly, however they were not a professional hotel staff. Nothing wrong with them as people, however there seemed to be no professional training or standardization. It seems to be family owned, or at least operated, so they were super kind and friendly, however standards that your expect for the price were far far from desirable.

Our host was so good to us, we checked in late, he gave us his parking spot and we were very thankful!

The room and shower was a tad small for 2 people, but the lovely welcoming friendly staff, great location and a fantastic breakfast made up for that. The location is absolutely stunning and quiet. Sort of rural with cows in the back yard. I would definitely highly recommend this Bnb.

Lot's of local history and just a 20 minute drive to the beach in Ballybunion. We also took the ferry from Tarbert to visit Co Clare on one of our days. We spent one day in Killarney National park this was our longest journey at just over an hour. To sum up Ballylongford is a good place to stay, a good location if you don't mind a bit of driving.

The owners were wonderful and made the stay very enjoyable. Lovely wee dog, too, Roxie. Breakfasts were good, with the option of cereals & yoghurt as well as the full fry. No view to speak of from my room at the rear of the house, but the immediate vicinity is fantastic and the causeway approach adds to the sense of welcome isolation. I really enjoyed the walks around the island, and visiting the nearby Abbey outside of Ballylongford, as well as Listowel, Ballybunion Beach, etc.
Everything was brilliant, Mary was a wonderful host who went above and beyond. The room was lovely, everything was super clean, the bed comfortable, there was a heated sheet which was so nice. Breakfast was freshly made by Mary, lots of choices and really good. The area is quiet and beautiful. We would definately come back and highly recommend. Better than any hotel we have stayed at, looking forward to come again.
The house is in a peaceful and stunning location about two miles from Ballylongford. The hosts are very friendly and have run their business for thirty years. The home is not as modern as some other b+bs, but my bed was very comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast.
Me, my partner and 3 year old stayed with Mary this week the stay was just wonderful!! Mary was the perfect hostess couldn’t have done enough for us!! The breakfast next morning was nicest we have ever had in a b&b or hotel! Will definitely be back x
