The room and shower was a tad small for 2 people, but the lovely welcoming friendly staff, great location and a fantastic breakfast made up for that. The location is absolutely stunning and quiet. Lot's of local history and just a 20 minute drive to the beach in Ballybunion. We also took the ferry from Tarbert to visit Co Clare on one of our days. We spent one day in Killarney National park this was our longest journey at just over an hour. To sum up Ballylongford is a good place to stay, a good location if you don't mind a bit of driving.Guest review byFergusIreland

Breakfasts were good, with the option of cereals & yoghurt as well as the full fry. No view to speak of from my room at the rear of the house, but the immediate vicinity is fantastic and the causeway approach adds to the sense of welcome isolation. The room was lovely, everything was super clean, the bed comfortable, there was a heated sheet which was so nice. Breakfast was freshly made by Mary, lots of choices and really good.
