Featuring mountain views, Fermoyle Properties Glynn's Cottage provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 28 km from Cliffs of Moher.

Cottage was almost in the mountain. Old little cute stone house for two with small yard. Host left for us bread, juice and milk. We were greeted by two hospitable dogs and a cute cat.

Ballyvaughan is a quiet little village hugging the shores of The Atlantic Ocean. There is a wide selection of accommodation suppliers to choose from. The location is very pretty, a great place if you want to take in an evening stroll by the seashore. There are a small number of shops in the area, such as local craft shops & cafes. I believe there is a craftmarket offering homemade & homegrown items direct. It is very easy to walk around and experience the beautiful surroundings.

We hiked in the Burren National Park (which is free), and that was lovely. It's very rocky, so I'd recommend bringing hiking boots or really durable shoes if you're planning on going on some of the more difficult trails. We ate at Leanne's Lobster Bar and Monk's Seafood - both were great, though their menus do overlap quite a bit (but we enjoyed something different both nights).

Very little choice of places to eat or have a coffee.

Very little choice of places to eat or have a coffee. Tea rooms not open at 11am on Thursday as suggested. Had a fab dinner at Monks and on a return visit next morning at 1130am had great tea n scones in front of blazing stove. Superb.

The hosts were very friendly right from greeting us upon arrival and giving us tips to serving us breakfast before we left. The full Irish breakfast was very good. We had dinner before arriving in Ballyvaughan, and only stayed for one night. We had a car, so it was easy for us to drive into the town centre from there. We would stay there again. We were given tips of sites to see when we left, and one we were glad not to miss was the Poulnabrone Portal tomb.

We only were able to stay one night. It was a great launch pad for visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. The people were friendly, the food was great and the pub was fun with local, live music! We recommend it!

The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers.

The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers. There are at least two good places to eat out. Some side roads are in a poor state of repair. Clare County Council need to fill the pot holes and try and keep the roads in decent repair. This includes some access routes to this property.

I would definitely recommend this B&B. Room was twice the size of the more expensive hotels we stayed in. Very comfortable with sofa, coffee table and chairs, overlooking fields with view to the hills. Comfortable lounge and breakfast room with view. Excellent breakfast. Good value and a pleasure to be in. Far better than the 4 more expensive B&Bs we stayed in.

This hotel is a gem. Excellent location for exploring north Clare. We were upgraded on arrival. Our room was beautiful. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was really good. Watching the sunset on Galway Bay was the icing on the cake,
