United StatesThis place was wonderful! James and his wife are lovely. James was so sweet and we got to hold Petal Brown, one of the farms newest additions. We loved our stay! Such a beautiful property and the rooms were spacious and comfy. I would 100% recommend this place and hope to return as soon as possible.

Ballyvaughan is a quiet little village hugging the shores of The Atlantic Ocean. There is a wide selection of accommodation suppliers to choose from. The location is very pretty, a great place if you want to take in an evening stroll by the seashore. There are a small number of shops in the area, such as local craft shops & cafes. We hiked in the Burren National Park (which is free), and that was lovely. It's very rocky, so I'd recommend bringing hiking boots or really durable shoes if you're planning on going on some of the more difficult trails. The hosts were very friendly right from greeting us upon arrival and giving us tips to serving us breakfast before we left. The full Irish breakfast was very good. We had dinner before arriving in Ballyvaughan, and only stayed for one night. We had a car, so it was easy for us to drive into the town centre from there. We would stay there again. The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers.
The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers. There are at least two good places to eat out. Some side roads are in a poor state of repair. Clare County Council need to fill the pot holes and try and keep the roads in decent repair. This includes some access routes to this property.Guest review byLoughlinIreland
