Very down-home feel, with friendly, helpful owner (John) living in site. Location is close, walking distance to small town of Carrigaline. We walked for a very enjoyable late coffee and seafood chowder at Maple Lane restaurant. Various other eateries in the town. Filling station about 200 meters down the street from the property. Also, there is a security gate at the bottom of the driveway. Coffee, milk, sugar, butter and jam for your use.

Big bright room is located in Carrigaline, just 8.3 miles from Pairc Ui Chaoimh and 10 miles from Cork City Hall.

We got a very specious room with a see view and just above the water. Super nice and clean. Perfect location of the hotel to explore the town by foot (as everything is just a walking distance - promenade, sights, cafes and restaurants, shops), as well as the best starting point for one-day journeys. There is a free carpark at the hotel, which was perfect. The breakfast was nothing special, but good. And both nights we stayed there, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and everything we tried was so good. We liked our stay at Waters Edge hotel so very much that we plan to return one day for another stay.

The property is very clean and comfortable. The location in Cork Harbour is lovely and the food in the bar/ restaurant is exceptional.

This hotel is directly opposite Cork Airport with a free shuttle service. It is just a 10-minute drive from Cork City, where there are shops, vibrant bars and restaurants.

Location is excellent & on a flat part of town - helpful for visitors with mobility issues. Rooms were comfortable & had everything you needed. Staff were very friendly .
