The grounds of the hotel is so peaceful. We had lovely dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. The room was very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel clean. We had a twin room. My single bed - just as I like it, firm and pillows ok. My friends double bed seemed to slope down to the head board and he found the pillows quite hard. 🤷‍♀️ Our first breakfast was excellent - yogurt and fruit followed by a full irish fry - fry came out hot and not greasy in the slightest - delicious 😋. The second morning - after being woken at some ungodly hour by a neighbouring business fire/security alarm that went on for what seemed for ever! - was disappointing- no yogurt and none coming!!! Had the pancakes instead of fry which were ok. Spent some time in swimming pool/spa. Good size pool. Jacuzzi was a little on the cool side for me. Steam room and sauna were fine. Didn’t use the gym but it seemed to have a good variety of equipment.. Staff were very pleasant and more than happy to help when asked. We dined out in Cavan in the evening. The menu in the hotel I’m sure would have been tasty but we fancied something ‘different’ from the standard hotel dinners and were not disappointed.

Kept awake in room 8 to early hours in the morning because of doors banging and noice from the yard etc. Hallway and carpet very dirty and smelly.

Location of this apt is ideal especially if socialising in Cavan town. Apt was so clean and with two double rooms, easily caters for 4 persons. Kitchen and living area also which was great. Highly recommend.
