Good location, in the countryside right outside Galway. We rented a room with private bathroom for the night. The room is warm and generally comfortable. The owner and host of the cottage, who lives there, is a kind lady. She prepared an excellent breakfast in the kitchen and provided helpful information about the surroundings.

We stayed in this hotel . It was fantastic stay . Hotel was too good . Staff very helpful. Only thing was they should have some kids activities organised as they were bit bore . Apart from that it was really good .

This was our 4th visit to The Menlo. We came over for granddaughter's christening in Balliasloe. We were allocated an accessible room as requested when booking the hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival at the reception desk. My sister joined us for the weekend and we'd arranged to have a meal in the Bar when she arrived.The bar was extremely busy, unfortunately we hadn't booked a table and we were directed to the residents bar until one became available. The meal was excellent and the bar staff were very pleasant.

The room was very spacious and had a lovely view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived we were early but they let us store our luggage and relax outside until the room was ready. The food was amazing, had breakfast the next morning and it was really lovely.
