Lawlors is a great place to stay. The location with the free parking is so nice. Some folks have said it’s too old but I found it fine. My room was very modern. Breakfast was delicious as well as evening meal. The staff were lovely. I’d say the two women bartenders were lovely. Claire made me feel most welcome with good ideas for things to do.

This was so much better than staying 20 min up the road in Waterford.
Lovely little village with a harbour and beautiful driving around this area.
We came through Kilkenny, Waterford and the tiny picturesque old village of Inistioge. Inistioge was a gem, beautiful little coffee and photo stop on the way.
Dungarvan had loads of good restaurants and cute pubs, however, in March things were shutting for a meal early, around 7.30pm.
Go out early for dinner, or you will end up with takeaway. There are a few of these options.
Good provision shopping here also with an Aldi and shopping centre.

Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops.
Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops. In driving distance of many fabulous beaches and the Waterford Greenway. We went to Youghal and Waterford city, both steeped in history. Everret's restaurant in Waterford and the Indian Ocean in Dungarvan were top restaurants, highly recommend both.

Dungarvan is a family friendly place.
Dungarvan is a family friendly place. The town is thriving and has a good variety of shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking. Best of all is the stunning scenery, walking trails, and beaches.

Dungarvan is a great town with nice people.
Dungarvan is a great town with nice people. There are newer built shopping facilities in the town that are not really that great compared to the feeling of the main square and its surrounding boutique type shops and bars. Took the train from Dublin Heuston station to Waterford direct (2 hrs 15 mins) and used local X55 coach from Waterford town Bus station (5 mins walk over the bridge) and onto Dungarvan (50 Mins), made the journey really easy.

A very nice B&B located about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Dungarvan. It is also located very close to an entrance to the Waterford Greenway, which is very handy if you’re a cyclist. Very nice breakfast, plus a small kitchen area where you can make tea or use a microwave etc…
Clonea strand is a short distance away and is an excellent beach. The Waterford Gaeltacht is also a short distance away.
It is beautiful and clean, perfect for the group. We often go to Dungarvan and stay at Crew’s Apartments. The accommodation is so affordable and central to the town. Dungarvan is a beautiful lively place and great fun! The Manager at Crews apartment was so lovely and welcoming. We had the best time!
Location was close to dungarvan town, bus stops and greenway. the property was comfortable and homely with all the amenities you need. the host is the best of all - we felt very looked after and the food was amazing! 10/10
The location of the hotel is excellent for walking into Dungarvan to shop, eat or socialise. Plenty of walks nearby. The Greenway is close by as well. The bar food was lovely.
