It was a beautiful facility that was clean but seemed to be run down and on its way out. The rooms are set up like a hotel, there is very little decor throughout and what is present seems odd and out of place. I couldn't make this up if I tried, the bathroom tile was tiger print and didn't match a thing if that is even possible. We had breakfast early at 7 am and the dining room was full. Almost everyone present was clearly a working man, like it was an extended stay location for out of town workers. This place is literally "a bed" and "breakfast". They had a couple of events that evening and when we returned from dinner there was literally no parking, not a single space.

This was a wonderful find for our final night in Ireland! The B&B is connected to the Irish Institute for Music and Song. The rooms are each named for Irish musicians. More importantly, the rooms are well appointed and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and the room was a good size. Breakfast in the morning was provided by the restaurant connected to the Institute that boasts an award-winning chef! We ordered off the menu which was varied and provided vegan and gluten-free options. It is located a short, easy drive to Dublin airport. The town in located on the water, so we enjoyed a nice stroll after dinner.

Kettle's Country House Hotel is located outside the town of Swords, just 6.2 mi away from Dublin Airport and 14 mi away from Dublin City Center. Free parking is available.
