The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is a contemporary boutique hotel situated in the fishing village of Liscannor, Co.

As I arrived at my room with my case, a lady came out of the adjacent room, saw I was just arriving and said the room was amazing and she was very impressed! She wasn't wrong, the room was huge, as was the bed. The bathroom was beautiful, massive walk in shower, floor and mirror lighting. with plenty of towels and face cloths. There was a big TV, with good selection of channels, and a very comfortable armchair and matching stool to rest walk weary legs. After a long day of driving and sightseeing, it was lovely to be able to relax in comfort for the evening rather than sit on the bed. As a top floor room I also had a sea view balcony and had the door open for a couple of hours before the rain came, that would be a real plus on warm summer evenings. The booking was made on a room only basis. I received an email to say "Rooms are booked on a room only basis and we do not serve breakfast, but we do offer complimentary coffee and pastries each morning from 7.30am". They are really selling themselves short here. I was expecting to collect a takeaway coffee and pastry to eat in my room. The reality was so much better, they do serve breakfast, just not a cooked breakfast or massive choice. It was also not in reception but in the airy hotel bar. I was offered tea or coffee, which was bought on a tray with a pot of tea. I had a choice of cereals, fruit, pastries, plus toast was available fresh to order brought to the table with a choice of jams and marmalade. I enjoyed a lovely light breakfast in a lovely environment, a real fire burning at the other end of the room. The whole hotel was inviting, from the library style reception, the greeting host, lady serving breakfast, and the rooms. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area, and recommend to friends.

Beautiful place with lots to do an hour's drive in any direction. Great scenery. The falls in Ennistymon were well worth seeing. It was a great base for seeing County Clare. Would highlight recommend it and we will be back.

Absolutely amazing property and one heck of a great breakfast. Our host I forget the gentlemans name welcomed my daughter and I into this beautiful property. At breakfast he gave us the history on the Station House which was very interesting and educated us on the history of the building. Our accommodations were spectacular and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great WiFi & parking right in the front. Do not hesitate if you’re in this area. Steve & Katia

I forgot to mention in my first review that our bed was so comfortable. And even though we had a difficult time in the beginning locating our room, we really did enjoy our stay. The view is stunning. The town is so sweet and quaint and charming. Everything was wonderful. The only thing was locating our room was a bit tricky. And a few of the Spa staff were kind enough to help us or point us in the correct direction to our room and our meals and drinks at the hotel bar was wonderful delicious and lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Ennistymon is my mother's family home.

Ennistymon is my mother's family home. On the anniversary of her death, we travelled there to celebrate her home and life. The town has changed a lot and is very welcoming to visitors. Amazing food is served in a fantastic eatery Byrnes. A great night with live music at Cooleys. The West coast of Clare is a true jewel in Ireland's crown. If you want to see Ireland at it's best and meet the loveliest and friendliest folk... then it is your destination. We did not want to leave.

Station House is probably one of the cleanest places I've stayed. The room was bigger than your average hotel room in Ireland and the people were great. Location is also amazing and good space for parking. The breakfast was good, lots of food and choices.

The man who owns the hotel was really nice. You explained what to do in the area where to go, and of course everything in the room. The location was nearby the cliffs of mohair, which made it easy to travel, and we even visited Galway.
