Caroline had the whole area spotless and cosy warm. We had a spacious living area with a view to the distant ocean, a large bathroom and bedroom. She spoilt us with a wonderful breakfast and was extremely friendly and helpful. A great place to stay and very close to the amazing Kilkree Cliffs and not far from the Cliffs of Moher.

Spotlessly clean room in small family run establishment. Restaurant on premises was a bonus. Location is slightly outside of downtown Kilkee. Room included kitchenette. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

The whole package that makes your hotel stay a wonderful experience is there and for a very reasonable price. It simply works from the great staff, the comfy room and good food. On top of that the sea air and the gentle noise of the waves made for a restful night. If only all my stays were like this one.

We had dinner in the restaurant upon arrival and truly enjoyed the staff, especially Trish. She made our stay extra special! The dinner was delicious and definitely an exceptional quality for the value.

For a small town, there was much more to Kilrush than I expected. Everywhere we ate served top quality food and the town had a good array of shops. As a location, it’s a gateway to many places. We loved all the nearby beaches (Kilkee, Doonbeg)

We love Kilrush!!
We love Kilrush!! Found this little town 7 years ago and we always visit when we travel to Ireland. 3 times now. There are so many things to see around the area, Kilkee Cliffs are beautiful along with the countryside. If you want a good sense of what Ireland is like this area has it all. Cliffs, country side, small towns, fantastic people, Central Shoe Store and Patrick's Men Shop are a must to shop in and great food! We will be back!! There is a great coffee shop in Kilkee up the road "The Pantry" wonderful morning goodies.

Very enjoyable time here - loved our trip out to Scattery Island, would highly recommend. The Vandeleur walled garden is also worth a visit. With more time we would have explored more of the coastal areas in and around Kilrush.

The Scattery Island tour is a must!
The Scattery Island tour is a must! Great to boat over and walk the island, tour operators are very noce and friendly.
Kilrush downtown area itself is quaint and a number of spots to enjoy food and drink often outside. Very easy to shop for any items needed a short walk away, Great retreat for less hustle and less bustle.

This place is absolutely perfect for families. A wonderful host met us on arrival and explained everything. Large front garden with plenty of space to park, and a private entrance and garden area secluded away from the main house. The house had everything we needed for a family - travel cot, fully kitted kitchen, etc. The house was immaculately cleaned, lots of spare towels, sheets, etc. Beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable too.
Location is a great base for exploring Kilrush, Kilkee, Doonbeg, and the surrounding areas.
I've spent the last seven years living out of hotels with work. I've never felt the need to leave a review in that time; I'm compelled to give my first.
There aren't enough stars!
Incredibly comfortable. Spotlessly clean and a wonderful host who pours probably the best pint in the world!
If you're visiting the West of Ireland, Buggles is a must.
The house is beautiful. The renovation of this townhouse is done with a light touch,it's perfectly executed.
If only more towns had similar reclaimed town houses.
The location is ideal for exploring west Clare. Kilrush is a great foodie town with top class places to eat.
Beds are really comfortable. Gorgeous big old cast iton bath. Loved it.
Barbara and Greg are lovely hosts, the breakfast is phenomenal, the accommodation is excellent, and the location is right in Kilrush town. I've stayed here a few times now and it's been fantastic every time.
Ideal location right in the centre of Kilrush. Friendly and helpful staff. The full Irish breakfast was one of the best. Nice period furniture throughout the place.
