Location was great and the scenery was excellent. plenty of walks in the area and close to the lakes and mountains made it an excellent location for touring.

Proximity to the sites (the Christian complex plus the park) was excellent. The room was large and clean. The hostess was welcoming and helpful. Not an hotel, but rooms plus access to a shared kitchen. No breakfast offered, but the restaurant was very close and excellent with long hours even off season.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and just a short walk to the pub down the street. The thought that the host put into the walking paths, lights, fencing, shower facilities, communal kitchen, everything was spectacular. We only wish that we could have stayed longer! Don't miss out on this place.

Great location. Caught the bus from Dublin to Glendalough and did not need a car. Wicklow Natl Park and nearby town of Laragh are accessible by foot. Walked to the wonderful Heather Wicklow Restaurant for dinner. Friendly staff. Quiet (though I was there during off-season). Perfect for my needs.

Daphne was an excellent host. She made us feel welcome and comfortable right away. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and beautifully decorated. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning in the cozy breakfast room, ordered from a list of about 8 options the night before. We would highly recommend the Stirabout Lane B&B for your Rathdrum or Wicklow stay.
