We were given breakfast every morning. In my case I got a full Irish breakfast. Breakfast was delicious! The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. They made our stay excellent, and would certainly stay here again.

Very clean, bright, and private with lots of room for 3. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Easy to find in the dark using gps. Wonderful responsive host - very helpful! We had a warm welcome and send off.

Fabulous stay!! A beautiful property. Our room was huge, it was so lovely to be able to rest, spread out and open our bags easily. We loved having a bath and enjoyed the space and decor of the room. The resort itself is away from the town, costing us about 15 Euros in a taxi to get into town and then another 15 Euros to come back. We decided after that to stay in the hotel and use the facilities there. We were very surprised with the prices of beer and wine in the hotel, which were pretty similar to the pubs. We enjoyed a few evenings in the bar and ate the soup and chicken wings - which were great. Breakfast was amazing too! The staff were so lovely, Paula in the bar, Jacqueline and Emily in the restaurant, as well as Tommy and Natalia. Everyone was so very friendly and we had a lot of fun while we were there. We had just finished a 3 week drive around Ireland and Northern Ireland, and were looking for somewhere to fill in 3 nights before heading back to Dublin. Very good value for money - with lovely walking opportunities as well as the chance for a steam, spa and swim in the resort.

Breakfast, my 9 year old son was impressed. I'll second that
This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking.

The grounds and room were beautiful. A bit disappointed by the lack of information provided at check in about the castle and times for breakfast dinner, nearby things to do etc. it was our first time at this castle and we didn't feel as welcome as we have at other places. The first afternoon/night we sat outside and service was inconsistent , it was difficult to get someone to order anything and felt ignored and not welcome. The next morning, we went for breakfast and no one was there and we waited inside until a server identified we needed a seat. The person who served us seemed in a bad mood and was not very friendly or engaging. The final afternoon turned around with incredibly friendly, engaging and attentive bar staff outside with great service.
